Split Air Conditioner Installation Steps:
1. Outdoor unit mounting:
Select a position for installation and then make holeson the driving cab. Then fix the external unit with screws.
2. Indoor unit mounting:lt is recommended that the indoor unit is mounted on the right sideabove the co-driver. First, mount the wood board on the driving cab . Screws can be also used to break through the board to fix it onto the bar of the cab. After the board is fixed, useself-tapping screws to fasten the indoor unit with the board.
3. After the indoor and outdoor units are fixed, connect them with pipes and installexpansion valve.
4. Power cord connection:
1) All the connection lines of the indoor and outdoor units are equipped with dedicatedplugs. Just plug them in.
2) Arrange the wiring to avoid any crossover. Use ties to fix wires.
3) During battery connection, do not reverse positive and negative electrodes (the positiveelectrode is red and negative electrode black). The set screws must be fastened.
4) The power cord of air conditioner must only be connected to the positive andnegative terminals of battery.
5. Vacuum the system before adding refrigerant.
1) The high pressure joint and low pressure joint of the refrigerant filling meter are respectively connected to the high and low pressure filling valve of the air conditioner.
2) Connect the filling tube to the vacuum pump, start the power supply and vacuum for 20 minutes to ensure that the air in the system is completely discharged.
3) Check whether the pressure gauge reading does not change, add 500g R134a refrigerant. (Note: Refrigerant needs to be added from the low pressure valve port.)
4) After refrigerant is charged, start the air conditioner and check whether the high and low pressure readings are within the normal range (high pressure :1 ~ 1.5mpa / 10 ~ 15bar / 150 ~ 230psi, low pressure :0.2 ~ 0.3mpa /2 ~ 3bar /28 ~ 42psi).
