Great package, ample grommets but size of grommets but outer ring is not wide enough, hence it has no tarp holding power- they are not what I needed/expected to repair/modify outdoor tarps, better for crafts only. Sorry to say, but didn't work for me- a wasted of investment, too hard to return

The hole punch you need to use to create a hole in the material you are attaching the fasteners to is too weak. One smal with a hammer and it just bends like a banana.This is a cheap kit. You get what you pay for. And the fasteners are not of good quality.

I got this kit only for the anvil and punch. It is hard to find this size, and I had a lot of grommets I needed tools for. I have been setting grommets in heavy upholstery fabric with no problem. I did use a metal hammer on the setting tool a couple times out of necessity and it started to dome, which is expected. So be sure to use a nylon or wooden mallet. The punch worked better than I expected. The grommets were scattered all over because the box was damaged. They are very thin so I probably won't use them.

I'm so upset. I opened this up and the box was completely broken. It will not close so I ended up losing a bunch of pieces. The inside cubbies are broken. They is plastic pieces mixed in. Everything got mixed.I don't even know how many pieces I'm missing now. This was so disappointing.

It's a great little set and worked well, but I needed just a teeny bit larger grommets, so I gave this set to a young friend who is designing and sewing sweatshirts and tops for her friends. This suited her perfectly, especially since it had various metal colors to choose from.

Firstly, the small box that these grommets come in is great.... unless of course it turns upside down during shipment, which it most definitely will. When they arrived they were completely mixed up, i had to spend a good 30 min sorting through all of them and separating into like colors and shape.Secondly, the "gold" colored grommets are a completely different color than their corresponding washer. Like not even close to the same color - the grommet is more of a rose gold while the washer is a pale gold.Thirdly, as others have mentioned, the hole punch is more dull than a butter knife upon arrival. I had to file mine sharp to use it the first time and by the 3rd hole it was ready for sharpening again. Pathetic quality for a cutting tool.Additionally, the tool is so poorly designed that there is no possible way to install a grommet without the grommet tearing and leaving sharp edges on the bottom. The grommets are too thin to bend without tearing.Finally, more than 20 grommets arrived bent/damaged so bad they aren't usable.Its pathetic that a kit of this quality has so many positive reviews. The company, Innetoc, should be ashamed and so should Amazon for selling this type of garbage on their site.

I made a blaze orange poly top for my hunting blind out of fabric that I ordered on Amazon. Needed a way to fasten something on it so that it could be tied off to the tent (bought from Amazon also), and this set was just the trick. Did exactly what I needed it to do. The Grommet eyelets themselves are pretty thin and flimsy, but did what I needed them to do. The price was also nice and the whole process was pretty easy.
