I had to replace the push button shift linkage bushing on my 2015 MKz. This bushing and tool worked perfectly! Make sure to pull the linkage out from the fully recessed position when installing the bushing, it will make everything easier (along with a pair of needle nose pliers and a friend to help).

This bushing fit my 2015 Lincoln MKC 2.0 perfectly. Very easy to install, I didn’t use the installation tool the bushing just snaps into place.

Used on the shifter cable inside the car after the dealer failed to replace. 2013 Dodge Dart Limited. The previous bushing crumbled away. This was a recall item on the car.

Double a em cee oh wanted to charge me $750 to replace the transmission cable in my 2016 transit connect van. I fixed it myself with this in 15 minutes. The work is a little tricky because it’s in a tight spot but I was able to do it. It’s been holding up over a year so far. But results my vary, not everyone is mechanically inclined. You don’t really need any tools to put this on, you use the orange tool that comes with it. But you will need a few basic tools to move a few things out of the way. Screwdriver, nut driver or small wrenches. Easy peasy.

I ordered for my nephew to come over and fix my son's car. Since he fixed the car it must have worked fine.

Seeing how Jeep JK's (2007-2017) do not sell this as a stand alone was a major issue. Jeep makes you buy the whole cable to fix this small issue. Mine broke free during trailing and cause several burns to the arm trying to get my linkage back on several times I was mad when I found out the repair was going to cost a lot of money just to replace a simple bushing. Well thank you amazon and having the piece I needed. I used this bushing 6 months ago and it is still holding up. Simple to use and a ton cheaper than buying the entire shift cable to only replace a worn out bushing.

ASE certified master tech- 35 years experience. Been told i can fix anything and find that to be true most of the time. Bought this and it did not even last through the installation. It crumbled and fell apart, it is made out a very soft weak plastic that is not much stronger then used bubble gum. After this failure i went to the local parts zone and got one that is made by dorman, part number 14055. They did not have it listed for jeeps but doing a visual check it looked right. Brought it back to the shop and had it installed in just a few minutes. It was more difficult to install due to the better material it is made out of but it still went in with no major trouble. It feels like it should last as long as the original one did. Best part, it was only $8.09. We do get a discount from being a shop, but the over the counter price shouldn't be much more.
