pretty good product, I got it cuz I can't find the other one I've had for years . this new one is just a little smaller than the older one, which makes it a little harder to square up with the corners and to hold on to

I used these - as intended - to square off the rounded corners of my strikeplate beds on the door frames as the new strikeplates required right angles. While it’s a little tricky to line it up perfectly to the existing corner, I was able to create the right angle with one strike of the hammer as the blade is quite sharp.

Dang this thing is great. Works perfectly. Sooooo much better than a chisel. Probably did about a dozen doors. Worked great with each one and it is still sharp.

When selecting this item I was hoping for a thicker blade. It works fine. I'm hoping it will sharpen and still be useable when it needs it. So for right now I am satisfied.

I have started putting picture frames together without a rabbeted groove for the picture and the glass because I later router that channel out, leaving a rounded corner on every corner. This tool allows me to chisel a quick square corner to accept the glass and the picture
