This is an amazing bargain in the world of analog synths. Small but powerful with a well designed layout. Patch bay is there so you can really get creative with your sound design.

Alongside my Edge and my RD-6, the Crave is another must have Behringer synth. It's well put together and definitely a great addition to any home studio. Paired with the Edge or Grind, RD-6, it makes for a powerhouse of music making. I only wish they would have considered a direct USB option with USB powering but I get it, it's a lot of machine to run. Definitely worth the buy.

Hi synth people! First, let me say that this synth is amazingly cheap and does an excellent job at recreating the Moog Mother 32 design platform and sound. It’s not a perfect recreation though. The first thing you should know, and this is not something found in the original M32: YOU CANT CHAIN SEQUENCES. That means that you can only play each 32 step sequence alone and have to switch the sequence manually if you want a more complex song.Second, and this is found on the M32 (v2.0): THERE IS NO RANDOM PLAYBACK MODE. No, I’m not talking about using the ASSIGN out, I’m talking about how on the M32, you can press KYBD+STEP+4 and sequence steps will play in random, saving the ASSIGN out for other parameters. If you plan on playing generative ambient music, this is a critical feature.

Had lots of hardware synths in the 80s, including some classics, which when looking at the prices of some of these, makes me cry!Been mainly making software only music for 20 years or so, until recently when I decided to investigate getting back into hardware again. Had seen lots of videos on YouTube and I was blown away by the scope of the Crave and it's low price. So pleased I took the plunge as it really is an excellent mono synth. It has taken me a good while to get used to physical knob twiddling, but it so much more satisfying having a physical piece of equipment compared to soft synths on a PC screen. There was a pretty steep learning curve for me and I certainly had to get my head around Oscillators, envelopes and LFOs again. There are loads of videos and information on the Internet though and before long I was happily losing hours of my life with this little orange beauty. The Arp and the Sequencer are particularly excellent and although things are not quite as intuitive as I think they should be, I soon got to grips with most of the functions. For a couple of days I did struggle to get more than noise out of my Crave, but now I'm really starting to see the benefits of putting in a little time to learn this instrument properly.Excellent quality and hats off to Behringer for creating such a flexible and fun instrument.

Those kinds of semi modular for desktop are small enough for a normal desk, but it gives you quite a lot of different possibilities anyway from midi connection to different patches. The sound is really great for price but unfortunately, you don’t get a detailed manual with. But it’s okay there is plenty of tutorial over the web. There is a sequencer our appreciator et cetera et cetera.

Love how much fun I can have with this thing, but the power jack became loose after a week of owning it.

Was not expecting a euro plug when I purchased. What's hilarious is it's a universal power bank, but they don't give you the US adapter. What a fun christmas scrambling to find a power port for this synth. Never found the plug converter, ended up getting a scary generic for a light system that read the same specs at this power bank. Fingers crossed it doesn't screw up this synth.

Worst thing was the missing us plug for ac adapter. Other than that great price.
