I bought this unit instead of a Wahoo or Garmin expecting to be disappointed. I was’nt, not in the least. This is a great computer and it does everything I need a computer to do. I paired this with the Gardia light/radar combo. The setup was a breeze. I’ve read that users have had issues syncing the head unit or transferring data. I’ve experienced none of this. Data transfer after a ride takes 5-10seconds. I’ve been using this unit for a couple of weeks and have zero complaints with the performance. Battery life is excellent. The radar is a game changer. I just wish that Bryton would come out with a tail light with a HD camera and radar like the competition. I’d gladly pay more for the added security of a HD camera function.

Great screen, great app, set up takes some time but instructions are good. Once set up you’ll love it.

Completely broken off after 800kmcan happen, but now I had to purchase a conversion kit and Garmin adapters to make it happen before my holiday, but you haven't heard anything from you. That is extremely bad.An S800, your flagship, will also take care of the service

I love the big screen, easy to use, value for the quality and all of the sensors. I paid less for the unit with all of the sensors than I would have for wahoo, or one of the other large brand names. The battery life is excellent, the app is easy to use. Excellent product.

I like the size of the screen, I can easily read it without readers and the brightness is very good in the daylight. When I first turned it on in my garage I thought it was going to be too dim to read on the road but as I got outside it adjusted up perfectly! I upgraded from the Rider 750 to this so it works pretty much the same except for a couple of additional features. It can control my headlight (and tail light if I had one). It pairs well with my Varia 515 radar, but it doesn’t have the capability to control that light (yet?). Overall I like it very much.

I have been using a Bryton S800 for over a year but without sensors. Decided to buy another with sensors to also see my heartrate and cadence while riding. Love the bright screen, the long battery life during rides and all the data that can be seen at once on a single screen. The USB-C port can not be used to charge the S800 while in use. No need to charge it while riding. Great product with many outstanding features.

This unit is a good value at USD249. The data page display is bright and clear, the large screen is a pleasure, and the battery life is more than adequate. It connected easily with all my sensors. BUT:The Climber challenge is useless. You need to add your own climbs, and it only works on a planned route, and does not pop up on approch to a climb. For a look at how a Climber SHOULD work, the Hammerhead Karoo 2 is the benchmark.I rode a planned route yesterday, and the turn by turn didn't always work. The Bruton Sport mount is the sturdiest I've ever used, and I've had them all.The S800 has a nice build quality, and it uses a USBC charging port.If Bryton can fix these shortcomins and keep the price under USD300, it could be a Garmin killer, whose units are hideously overpriced.

I pulled the trigger on this during a "lighning deal" and figured I would give it a go for the price it was going for. I am away from home for an extended period of time and acquired a backup bike to ride and was going to use my phone, but figured for the price I would give this a go. It is a sleak device and looks very premium. That said, it has proven not as easy to configure to my liking. I got it mostly there for my needs, but I much prefer the Wahoo product. It does not integrate with Apple Fitness like my Wahoo does; not that that is a selling point, I just like it. The app is nowhere near as nice as Wahoo's either. I so plan on keeping it as a backup while I am away from home. It's usable. I had no problems linking ANT sensors to the unit. Not sure firmware will improve things at this point, but it does the basics good enough for me to keep it as a backup long term.EDIT: Stopped alerting with bike radar (possibly due to a firmware update - I am not 100% sure there). That is a huge safety concern to me. Sadly, it is past my return window on Amazon. I tried a device reset to no avail. Support from this company is, well, not good. I wish I got a Wahoo backup. Avoid this at all costs. After a couple of months of back and forth with Bryton, they told me my device was defective... and pretty much ended it there and stopped communicating with me. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!
