I got this product to feed our cats when we are gone for the whole day or for the occasional overnight trip. It has a nice, simple design that is easy to program and works well. I appreciate that it comes with two sets of ice packs. We have tested it for the past few days- to make sure it is reliable before we use it when we are gone for the full day- and it works very well. The trays are very easy to clean, and I especially like the stainless steel option. I would recommend this product!

Diese amerikanische Zeitanzeige ist bei uns ja nicht geläufig daher, einen Stern Abzug. Finde es auch sehr schade das eine Ersatzschale 50Euro kosten soll, da kann man sich gleich auch nen ganzen neuen Automaten kaufen.Lässt sich gut reinigen, Katzen sind mittlerweile schon Konditioniert auf das Dreh und Piepsgeräusch (hahah)Wird von unseren beiden 6 Monate alten Kitten gut akzeptiert und funktioniert zuverlässig.

Bought this wet food automatic feeder because we were going out of town for a week and wanted to ensure that our female kitty was getting enough food. She has kidney disease and has been losing weight.Our male cat likes to steal her food, so I wanted to make sure she had round-the-clock snacks that he couldn't get into.She adjusted quickly to the "beep" alarm, indicating that a new round of meals was available. The signal was loud enough for her to hear; but not loud enough to startle or scare.There are six food trays that rotate based on the time schedule you program into the system. We programmed it around her main meals (that the petsitter would be serving), for every three hours. Programming was easy. Basically, it's a push of a button.It comes with four ice packs, which keeps the tray cool for up to 24hrs. We opted for the stainless steel trays because I felt it would stay cooler, less bacteria, and would be easier to clean.If you are putting wet food into the system, make sure you clean it daily. We had a second petsitter come in for the last day of our vacation and she forgot to clean it out. The wet food that was left in there stank horribly, probably because she forgot to change out the ice packs.I was able to make sure that the feeder was working correctly, due to the security camera in the room.I have continued to use it while at home, so she has continued use of the snack tray, without me having to monitor the food. I haven't had to charge the battery since I recieved it, about a month ago. Works well, very sturdy, great value for the money. Gave peace of mind, knowing that she would be fed. You will not be disappointed.

I bought this for cat because you can easily use wet food in it. With that being said, I put her back on dry before it arrived. However, either works great in this feeder as it comes with 4 ice packs.I had a feeder previously that would drop food into a steel bowl and my cat was always super anxious waiting for the loud drop (was a nightmare) so we stopped using it. THIS FEEDER is extremely quiet and just beeps when the food is there.We originally bought it for when we were away but we use it all the time!!Side note: had a small issue and contacted customer service and they were quick and responsive.

I bought this to give treats to my dog during the day when I’m at work. It is perfect for larger treats that don’t fit into those kibble size treat machines. I have been using it for about 3 weeks now every day, 2 times a day and it has been reliable so far. Easy to operate, easy to clean. Not sure why other reviews say it’s hard to program. Was very easy for me. Instructions are pretty straightforward. I got this version because the moving mechanism is quieter (you can definitely still hear it) and won’t scare my dog. He gets to the treat before it even locks into position and beeps. So glad that the dilemma of how he’s going to get his treats when he’s home alone all day is solved! Awesome little machine. The battery life is also great. Would I trust this machine or any other machine to keep my dog/cat fed with a meal? Probably not but it is amazing for treats. Even if it malfunctions and doesn’t give him any treats one day, his life does not depend on it. It will be just an upsetting inconvenience for him and I will be home in time for his dinner and an apology in form of his absolute favourite treat))

I was searching for a good Feeder for my wet cat food when I came across this one, and I must say, I am happy I found it! The size is a lot bigger than I anticipated, so finding it a 'home' in my small bedroom was a little frustrating. I haven't measured it yet, but it has to be about 12 inches in diameter, if not more. Set up was easy once I realized how it works. It has 6 food slots, but when programming it, there are only 5 programmable feed times because the 6th one will be in the 'open' position for feeding when you set it all up. You set the time first and then it'll prompt you to set up the 5 feeding times. I set mine up every 4 hours, so my fur baby will get fed at 2am, 6am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm (when I set it up again for the next day). I love that it comes with 2 sets of ice packs so you can change them out with fresh ones as needed. I wouldn't suggest changing the ice packs every 24 hours (when you set up the feeds for the following day) because they don't stay cold quite that long. I change my ice packs out every 12 hours, at 6am when I get up for work and at 6pm when I get home. The ice packs keep her wet food fresh and my picky eater doesn't stick her nose up at it, which is great! She is used to a shallow but wide food bowl that prevents her wiskers from rubbing on the edges of the bowls too much. I was concerned she wouldn't like this Feeder because the slots are a bit deeper than she is used to, but after some coaching, she did get used to it. It makes a single, loud beep to alert when it changes position to provide fresh food and she was quick to realize that beep meant dinner time. I have two cons about this product- the first con is that it doesn't have a battery powered back-up for in case the power goes out for an extended period of time. However, I should mention that once the Feeder is fully charged, the battery lasts quite a long time (I've seen others mention the battery lasting 4 to 6 weeks or so). The other con would have to be that there isn't an app to use with this Feeder. I find I have rase of mind when I can connect my Feeder to my phone. There are ones that alert if the power is disconnected, if feedings are unsuccessful, tracks the times it has given food and allows you to manually provide a feed from anywhere. I LOVE that feature for other feeders, but this one doesn't have that option at all. I feel like I am blindly trusting that she is getting fed through the day. The Feeder has yet to malfunction or to not provide her food, which is great. I also love that I can better control her portions and calorie intake since she is a little overweight. For anyone wondering, the Feeder rotates counterclockwise. I love how easy it is to clean this out as well. The only reason I didn't give 4 stars is because of it not having an app to monitor or control the feedings. Honestly, it is definitely worth the buy!

My husband set these up while I was out of town so he didn't have to get up early to feed our cats, lol. He showed me how to use it and it's very simple. We have had them 3 weeks now without issue. The ice packs stay quite cold so I have no concerns about wet food going bad. One of them was not fully plugged in and lost it's charge eventually. This caused one window to only open partially. My cat was trying to get at it but it did not break or bend. So it's very sturdy. I love that the internal dish is removable and dishwasher safe. We got it for travel when we go on vacation but also use it daily to give our cats a late night snack when we are asleep. It's on the floor below our bedroom. I hear the noise signifying it's rotating to a new meal if I am awake and the environment is quiet, but it absolutely doesn't wake me up. I would recommend these and buy them again if needed.
