We use these in the nesting box along with the straw mats, has helped prevent broken eggs. I would buy again.

These are great because they stay in place better than some of the other pads, can't be eaten like jute, can be cleaned easily, and chickens don't mind them at all. I just put some hemp bedding on them and the chickens end up making a nice hole in the middle but the eggs won't move around or break on landing.I suggest rinsing them off and airing them out before use though! They smell fresh off the press.

Folks, we have three hens. And we consider them family pets more than anything else. So, their comfort, health, and quality of life is important to us. In the past we used other nesting materials and nest box bedding materials. All were difficult to deal with and had to be disposed of within a week or so since they could not be thoroughly cleaned. These new nesting pads are a sinch to clean and still comfortable for our ladies. No complaints so far!

I've been using the grass/straw nesting pads for a long time but would have to change them when a chicken had a messy poop in there, or some other messy issue. I finally decided to try some of these and honestly, there are pros and cons. Pros: it's washable, it stays in place so the hens don't scratch it around and move it away from where I wanted it. Cons: it's got holes in it! I know that's for ventilation (I think it is) but it also means that when there's a mess it just leaks right down underneath and passes the mess around. Not sure what other people use these for, but so far, my hens have not laid an egg on one. They're still getting used to them, apparently.

These are very durable and easy to clean nesting pads! My eggs are clean and my nesting boxes are also staying very clean. They were the perfect size i did not have to cut them. I also like the thickness of each pad they are very durable!

I have young pullets in with my hens and they frequently use the nesting box to poop in. Drives me nuts. Kept ruining my old nesting pads. These are awesome! Affordable and the poop dries so that I can just pull the pad out and shake it off. The pads stay clean and the eggs aren’t covered in poop anymore.
