I think my title sums it up pretty well. The tips screw on nice and tight so it’s cut back on my habit of re-tightening before I throw, lol. They definitely feel sturdy, they don’t seem to get all bent out of shape after a game or two like other brands. They do stick very well so it takes a little practice with the twist and pull to get them out but that’s less annoying than having to chase errant darts that bounce out.We use these on our home dartboard so I can’t imagine every needing another bag because you get so many of them. All in all, fantastic buy IMO!

I like other Mage Rabbit tips but these ones are bad. They stick in my Arachnid board too well and they are difficult to remove. I have to twist and pull hard to get them out. Unfortunately the threaded side of one of the tips broke off inside of my dart when trying to remove one, essentially ruining my favorite dart set because I wasn't able to get the broken threaded end out. I also have the CL08's and they are much better and release from the board easily and rarely boun out.

I'll start off this review by saying we are complete amateur dart players. I ordered a dartboard with plastic-tipped darts, so we had something to do while enjoying the warm weather on our lanai. The darts that came with the dartboard had very cheap plastic tips that were constantly bending or breaking off. I saw these and thought I'd give them a try. First of all, they are reasonably priced as you get 1,000 tips in each bag. These will last us a lifetime! They easily screw into the darts we have, and I was pleasantly surprised that they don't come unscrewed while you're using them. The tips that came with my darts kept unscrewing, so that's a major plus that these don't. They do bend some during play, but what's nice is we were able to bend them back and use them for quite a while before we needed to replace them. They also stick really well into the dartboard. They actually stick almost too well as sometimes it's hard to pull them out, but this is a good thing as we don't notice them bouncing off the dartboard as much as our old tips. Overall, if you're not looking to host a dart championship or have professional dart players in your family, these are perfect for the amateur dart player.

These tips work pretty well for my house darts at the bar. They thread easily into 2BA barrels and they seem to tighten up well with just a little pressure. The tips are a bit narrower than other standard tips, but they have a texture to them that helps avoid bounce-outs without any issues in the couple matches I threw with them. And with 1000 in the bag (I didn't count, just assuming) we shouldn't need to buy replacements for a long, loooong time. Great buy!

These are nice 2BA tips. They go on the dart easily and stick in the board well. They reduce bounce-ours. They don’t bend or break easily. These dart tips are a very good value at $15.99 for 1000 tips.I do wish there were color choices other than just black, because I like to match my tips and flights, but at least, if there is only going to be one color, black pretty much goes with everything.

These soft dart dips are a great buy. My husband is the dart player, and his first reaction was “Man, I’ll be set for life with this bag!” Needless to say, he’s ready for his tournament. While they fit his barrels, he noted that they are a tight fit. He noted that is a pro and con as they are a tad bit hard to get on and off, but they don’t loosen up when he plays. They are affordable which is another plus!

To be sure, I’m no authority on plastic dart tips; I haven’t gone out of my way to find, by comparison, the “best” plastic dart tip. However, one thing I am clear about to the extent my experience allows, is that finding a package of 1000 plastic tips at MageRabbit’s current offer of $16 is going to be awfully hard to beat. These MageRabbit CL05 tips have small “nubs” surrounding the 3/4" tip that act as barbs when penetrating the tiny surface holes of the dartboards that are used for plastic tip dart play. We don’t have too much of a problem with bounce outs regardless of the tips we’re using, unless, as would be the case with any tip, we hit an encompassing boundary where there are no holes. That said, these barbed tips have considerably more sticking power than regular tips; it’s even much harder to twist them out.I did some searching on the web and didn’t find any specific information about barbed plastic tips, other than that they are available. Even the seller, MageRabbit, that also has smooth plastic tips for sale, offers no insight or distinction in their description of the significance of the nubbed tips. It seems the only option is to try them to see if they work for you. We have a Fat Cat Mercury Electronic Dartboard that isn’t that old, which makes these feel unnecessary. On the other hand, I don’t have another brand barbed dart tip to compare these too. My impression is that these may be made for boards with a long history of use, where perhaps the extra sticking power may be a necessity. As of now, we don’t need it, but that doesn’t take away from the value of these tips. Another style barbed tip offered by Lippoint, what they call the “L-Style,” is considerably more expensive than these ($7/50), notwithstanding a difference in quality, which I assume there must be. I do notice that the barbed tipped darts stand out slightly more perpendicular to the board than do the smooth tips, which can be a score enhancing benefit. In any case, as I said at the beginning, you can’t beat the great value. My uneducated opinion is that if you’re not having a problem with darts bouncing out, then these may not be a necessity, but again, you get 1000 of them.
