The wool arrived vacuum sealed, fluffed up very easily was very clean with no odor. It is combed top so all the fibers are oriented in the same direction producing a smoother worsted style spin (as opposed to fuzzy woolen.) It took two pounds of the sand color to make this sweater and the other colors were acquired and spun separately. The fiber came in a slightly cooler tone than I expected but it ended up working out perfectly. It’s Corriedale which normally runs 25-30 microns (somewhat coarser than merino) so is itchier but feels like an average level of wool itchiness to me. Various wools naturally spin easiest to a thickness specific to them. Thus wool didn’t “want” to be spun fine and a three ply created Aran weight yarn.( knitting pattern is Nocturnal Jumper by The Petite Knitter)

I was so excited to find this as our local stores do not have it anymore. This product is nice and as stated on the listing. It was also sent out very quickly.

Wonderful for spinning on a walking wheel. Soft yarn that is strong and easy to dye.

As a very new spinner, the ecru was a dream to work with. Very soft, zero VM. I dyed it using Kool-aid and it took the color well.

I am SO impressed with this roving- I process my own fleece and I always prefer my own over commercially processed roving which tends to be harder to draft and they process the "sheep" right out of it so I often wonder if it's even a natural fiber. This roving still feels like wool, it's consistent and open and loosely packed so perfect for a beginner spinner as to draft it is a dream. And the price you pay is great for what you get.I'm still in the spinning process so I haven't made anything with it yet- time will tell if it's going to be super itchy or abrasive as wool can be. I have Icelandic sheep and you cannot make hats from it as it is SUPER ITCHY. Curious to see what can be made with this and I will be sure to update when I find out.I am curious as to what breed sheep this is from, definitely not Merino or Rambouillet and it has zero crimp but the micron count seems low enough. Definitely from one breed and not a mix of various breeds. Very consistent. Love the natural colors. Love silver and the variances it hasThis made 2 full skeins of two ply at a worsted weight. I was expecting more. I will purchase again

I blended the roving with my hand carders and created a real nice heathered yarn. It’s quite easy to spin and knit with. I will most certainly order more again from this company. Thank you.

This wool was wonderful to work with. It has a very good staple length. The feel is soft and smooth to the touch. Whether you are doing felting of spinning, this is a good choice. I also found the wool very clean, with little fiber material within it. The colour was nice, a beautiful shade of grey. It was altogether a pleasure to work with. The amount too was great, seeing a little goes a long way. After my initial purchase, I was so pleased, that I have purchased more; Natural coloured sand and an off white.

I think this wool is very good. I enjoy spinning this corriedale much more than some other more fine wool breeds like bfl or merino. I find the natural undyed wools spin up infinitely easier, to the point where I'm thinking of trying to dye all my own wools so as to maybe get a better result. I especially recommend the zebra striped one for beginners, because it makes it a lot easier to see your twist, and make sure to get that right. or at least get familiar with how much twist comes from how much spin, if you know what I mean. The one thing I would say is that it's a little bit dirty. I would be sure to wash your hands after spinning this wool or wash the wool before use (which is a whole other thing that requires knowledge and skill. but you can always wash your hands after each spin session before you do something else and then wash the yarn.)

I have wanted to make a merino wool blanket for a long time. Finally found this company. I couldn’t be happier with the quality. Really top notch. I knew it would be expensive to make the size I want, and will need a lot more, but I try to stay away from synthetic fibers for my bed and to sleep better/healthier, it’s worth it. Delivery was seamless and timely. Highly recommend this company! This is a true gray color.

UPDATE NUMBER 3: Ecru never fails me! I'm much happier with the quality of Ecru compared to the dark chocolate.UPDATE NUMBER 2: The company offered a refund, though I'm still not entirely happy as I was hoping the mocha color would work out, I'm still pretty disappointed. I also have half a roll with no clue what to do with it. I took the refund and bought the Ecru colored one and that's not expected to arrive until Wednesday :( I'm glad I'm getting ecru and the refund was issued but really disappointed in the response time of the company and the quality of the dark chocolate colored one that I'm ultimately going to need to trash.UPDATE; Even more frustrated as I made my dreads and lost 2 from just the slightest tug, wet and dry. I regret buying this particular color and am really upset about this. The light colored (ecru) one has never given me an issue, my family usually buys me that color but I decided to give the brown a try. I make dreadlocks. This is way too soft and the roving sheds or falls apart when I tear it apart. I lost about 1/4 of the roving. I NEVER had this issue with the ecru colored one and about 3 rolls of that was purchased from the same seller so IDK bro, I would skip this color and stick with ecru. I can't really return this as I used up half the roll with 1/4 of it being lost from it falling apart.
