This Wireless Light Switch Remote Control Outlet is a fantastic solution! It’s incredibly easy to install without any drilling or mess, making it a lifesaver for those who want to avoid costly electrical work. It works as designed and lights up instantly as soon as the button is pressed.I used it to add lights to my undone cellar, which only had an outlet. In just minutes, I was able to create a functional wall switch—no wiring or hassle required. The 100ft RF range is impressive, and it works seamlessly every time.If you already have an outlet in the room, this product is a perfect alternative to traditional installations. Highly recommended for anyone looking to simplify their lighting setup or enhance convenience without breaking the bank.Highly recommended.

the first product i received didn’t work, the remote won’t send a signal to the outlet even after resetting. i reached out for an exchange and the new product came within 2 days and now works perfectly. as for not working for very long, will see if any problems occur.

I was going to return this because it uses what used to be a non-standard, expensive battery in each remote. However, after checking Amazon, I found that premium brand 23A batteries are only $2.50 each.I tested the current draw when the remote is activated and it was 5.4mA. I also found that the typical capacity of this battery is 55mAH! So, assuming a button press takes 1 second, a typical 23A battery should last 36,667 clicks of the remote! Good enough for me!Of course, this is an alkaline battery and could leak, but it is really 8 button cells in a metal container. The little bit of chemicals in the cells would have to eat through the button metal walls, then the outside container wall to leak in the device!I kept it because it works well, and the sideways outlet lets you plug in behind furniture without having to use a right-angle extension.

Works great. The screws stuck up above the plastic mounting so it was a real pain to install the switch panel. Had to get different screws and spent time trying to smooth out the screw holes so the screw would be flush. Other than that nonsense, I really like the switch and the 15 amp for a garbage disposal.

Fantastic for operating lights across the room. Worked well for my mum in retirement home where light switch was easier to operate than lamp on/off mechanism. Could put on wall near doorway to turn light on before going into room.

Bought this little guy a few day’s ago and wow, do i love it. If you need a solution where wiring a hard wired plug isnt an option, then you need this. No delay from switch to plug and it works amazing.

Love these I bought 2. They are easy to set up. I've had for a couple months already and the battery life in the remote controls are still running strong. The quality of the outlet and remote are excellent can't even tell that it's not a normal switch.

All around excellent.-Made of sturdy plastic and well put together, doesn’t feel cheap.-extremely simple, plug in and it works, not need to set anything up-does not need to be in line of sight of the switch, I have it completely blocked and it still works-does not interfere with other devices or similar devices in the house

It's a very simple setup - plug the pluggy bit into the wall; plug the lampy bit into the pluggy bit; screw the switchy bit into the wall somewhere logical. Pull the battery tab off the switch before mounting. It switches instantaneously - zero delay just like a wired switch. The switch sticks out a little way off the wall, but otherwise it has an almost identical form factor to a decora switch, so it is pretty natural to use. No interference between this switch and another in the same room.

A great solution to a long standing problem of a room with no switched light. Worked right out of the box, and works every time, no setup required.

Great invention for something we take for granted. Our bedroom had no ceiling light and only two plugins so we bought a swag light and this remote wall switch. Easy to install and works great! That first day I’d pop in to the room just to turn the light on and off. It was such a luxury.I highly recommend this remote wall switch if you’re in a similar situation.

I used to have a similar set of remote switches, but shorted one out one day with a defective lamp. These are FAR better than the ones I had before.BETTER THAN SMART SWITCHES:After my last remote switches burnt out, I tried using “smart” switches — those are the STUPIDEST things I’ve ever dealt with! If the Internet goes offline, you can’t turn on your lights! I couldn’t find battery operated wall-mountable switches; so I’d have to shout “ALEXA! TURN ON THE LIVING ROOM LAMP!” I’d rather just tap a switch on the wall as I enter the room. Then, I found a Samsung “smart button” — also a stupid thing! The button requires a hub, which isn’t compatible with the switches I have. I had to try a workaround by creating an IFTTT script, just to turn on my lights with a button! Then, there are processing delays (maybe IFTTT got backlogged?). I pressed the button a few times and nothing happened. About 15 seconds later, my lights flashed on and off about 5 times. The neighbors must think I’m crazy. Ugh!!! The whole thing is so frustrating and stupid; nothing smart about it.When I saw this switch on Amazon, I jumped on it. This is EXACTLY what I needed! It took just a few minutes to setup and works perfectly.PROS:- Easy to program.- You can mix and match switches and receptacles. For example, I have two switches that each control two separate receptacles across the room from each other.- Dedicated ON position and OFF position. My previous one would just toggle ON/OFF. That was a problem if the two receptacles fell out of sync. This one doesn’t have that problem.- Looks like a typical rocker-style wall switch; not some weird device.- Switch can be mounted anywhere, as it runs on batteries.CONS:- Uses less common A23 12V battery. Easy to get online, but AAA would have been better.- Switch construction is slightly flimsy. It would be nice if it were just a bit better construction.- Not UL Listed. Not a deal breaker, but that would have been good peace of mind.I will be getting a few more of these.Good luck!
