I used it for Xmas decorations against the side of my house and it was really cool animated and even during the day you could see clearly the animations and lights

The build of this laser seems solid. It has a metal chassis and glass lens. There is also an attached yoke for mounting. The unit some with a power cable and remote. The remote is made from plastic. The laser output is bright. Be careful not to point it directly at anyone, or allow it to reflect of a shiny surface, like a window or mirror ball.The laser has nice features available via the remote. You can size the pattern, change the animations, laser color, and sound sensitivity. However, to fully access all of the parameters of the laser, you will need to use a DMX controller or DMX software.The manual and remote use the terms "beam" and "animation". This is confusing. What "beam" is referring to is line forms like boxes, stars, circles, etc. The line forms can be static or animated. Animation refers to multi-frame laser animations, like a flying bird or break dancer. As far as I can tell, there's no way to load or create your own forms or animations. The pre-programmed animations are limited. There are more beams than animations, and not all are accessible via the remote.The remote also allows you to browse the animations and store up to four animations on the remote. You can also change from auto beam/animation to sound reactive as well.There are 32 DMX channels to control two RGB lasers. The DMX values are repeated for each beam. You can also control aspects of the beam, like size, shape, color, movement, and distortion. Nearly each channel has multiple values for that function.If all you want to do is use a remote for built-in features and not take advantage of it's full capabilities through DMX, this laser may be more than you need, Amazon offers other laser slightly or significantly cheaper that do the same thing. However, if you want to have control over both lasers, be able to change colors or animations types, or access all the animations available, this laser would be a good fit.

Laser quality is fine, but there isn't any way to add or change images. Available library is short.

It's an amazing 3D Animation Party Laser Light with lots of Animation and best of all. I am super impressed with the great quality. I recently purchased this DJ laser light for my home parties, and while it has some great features, there are a few drawbacks worth mentioning. Whether you want a simple light show or something more complex, this unit delivers a solid range of effects that can really elevate the atmosphere of any event.However, my main concern is the brightness of the laser. Even with fog to enhance visibility, the lasers tend to look dull after a short distance. This really diminishes the overall impact of the light show, especially if you're trying to fill a larger space. You can have all the effects but they are not worth it if the visibility isn't really there where you need it.
