Seriously, I was surprised to see how much better constructed this one is compared to the one in the car. Then again the car is also 17 years old.

This was exactly the part that I needed. The mechanic was worried when I said I had bought my own part, but when he saw it and the brand, he said "Oh, this will absolutely be alright!"

Replaced the fuel level sensor in my 2003 Saab 93. This is a known weak link on Saabs. It goes out and causes the fuel gauge to read empty even on a full tank. Fixed the problem and now the fuel gauge works.

This product will be a quarter tank off for a 2005 Chevy Malibu (base). I still have 4 gallons of gas when it gets to empty, and when it's completely full the gauge says I have 3/4 tank. Rest of you please use the actual part number and OEM instead of this recommendation from Amazon. Save yourself some time from all the work to get the outcome I do. Although it is nice not to have the engine light on and a functional gauge.

Bought to replace the one in my 2005 SAAB 9-3 that went bad and it works great. One note - be mindful of how far you slide it up on the fuel pump. I slid mine up too far and as such, it shows I have 3/4 of a tank instead of a full tank of gas. I'll drop the tank again to correct this, but that will have to wait.

Allowed me to make a simple repair vs. replacing the whole fuel pump. Great video on youtube to make the repair. Took about 6 hours total time. My skill level is about a 5 out of 10 so it could be done faster.

Installed on my daughters car and it worked great no more check engine and now she can tell how much gas she has!

Tells me to go get gas when its low. How does a little inexpensive item like this fail. Had to remove gastank to install. Glad my automaker doesn't build anything that needs to be reliable......like a plane or rocket.
