My fuel gauge was all over the place (95% wrong!) so this not so fun job was a must. At least I have a hoist. They're very easy to change out after pulling the tank. If you happen to get one for the wrong year (pre/post 2007) the sender is the same, just the connector is different. Keep your old wires, and swap them at the sensor end (much easier than the top). Gauge now reads accurately and will hopefully keep doing so for another decade or so.

It works. But thr readings are a little off. Reads fuller than the tanks really is.
