Great product, it is exactly what you pay for. I have no issue with the one sent to me and quick and easy to set up. It is just as easy to use out of the box.

This Eye Contact Webcam with Microphone has been a fantastic upgrade for my video calls and online meetings. The video quality is crisp and clear, even in lower lighting, and the built-in microphone picks up my voice perfectly without any background noise. The eye contact feature really helps make my calls feel more natural, and the camera was super easy to set up — just plug and play. Whether for work, chatting with family, or even streaming, this webcam delivers reliable performance every time.Highly recommend for anyone needing a quality webcam with clear audio and video!

This was a dead product right out of the box. There was no power to the camera and the whole thing felt very cheaply made. Having the flexibility to move the camera as desired drew me to this product but it was not even functional right out of the box. I returned it and would not recommend it. There are better alternatives out there.

This has a sturdy clip, which can be fixed to laptops, monitors or anywhere you want, really. It is easy to set up: plug and play. The gooseneck means you can focus it where you want, for reviews, instructional videos, conference calls etc without having to move the camera itself. The microphone works well, and seems to produce decent quality sound. Video quality seems great, too, as far as I can see with my limited experience. You can adjust brightness up or down, using the buttons, and the other button rotates the image or mirrors it.The manual focus is a matter of preference, really. If you don't need much control, then it might be a nuisance, as every time you change the view, it might need adjusting. But it also enables precise control, and you get used to it.It has an eye contact feature for conferences/calls etc. This is a Vine Voice review, but that has not changed my opinion and I only review items I would buy. I try to use or test all products, or if I can't, I at least check them. You can see my rating system on my public profile under my bio, as I don't want to add it to every review.

The picture quality is not great - looks like there is low lighting compared to using my other camera. The clip is too strong and I worry about damage if I were to clip it to my monitor. The camera itself seems small until you try to orient it for eye contact, then it blocks a lot of the screen. Good idea, poor execution.

This webcam is a great option for anyone who wants a flexible and high-quality video conferencing solution. It's compatible with most popular video conferencing platforms, and the image quality is excellent.I particularly like the flexibility of the stand, which allows me to position the camera at the perfect height and angle. However, I do find that the camera angle is a bit wider than I would like, so I have to move it closer to my face to avoid capturing too much of the background.Overall, I'm very happy with this webcam especially for the price (£19.99). It's a great value, and it offers a lot of features that I find useful.

This is a decent webcam for the price (£19.99 at time of writing), but it's far from perfect.Firstly, it doesn't seem to have any auto-focus ability at all, which means you have to manually dial in the focus by rotating a ring around the lens. Because the webcam stays still and I stay still, that shouldn't be too much of an issue; however, I found it quite difficult to get the focus right! You essentially have toi cover the lens with your hand while turning it, so you can't see the results of your adjustment until you take your hand away. Also, I found that turning the focus ring slightly moves the gooseneck too, so the camera ends up pointing in a slightly different direction. I do appreciate manual focus, but I'd prefer it to be optional.I did appreciate the physical buttons for adjusting exposure, flip and mirror though - those are a really nice touch, and really helpful when finding a suitable position for the camera. The device itself is honestly kind of ugly - it's a small white box attached to a black gooseneck; IMO it would have looked better all in white or black, not both. The plastic of the camera housing doesn't look very nice; hard to describe, but it just looks and feels like cheap plastic. The gooseneck design is an excellent idea, and means you typically have several options for where to place the camera, including at eye height. However, I'd prefer if the gooseneck was both slightly longer and slightly stiffer - it's not quite long enough for many large monitors (depending on design), for example.Overall, I'd say it's a nice camera, but could be bettered.

This is a tiny webcam. Easy use - just plug into a USB port & go. Picture, though not super high quality, is definitely a significant improvement on the in-built webcam on the laptop. The clip is strong and grips to the table well and the gooseneck works well, with enough length to be able to position the camera in the centre of the screen if you want eye-contact or to direct it to a document on the table. Not so long as to become unwieldy in use. It is useful to be able to leave this attached to a desk if you use it frequently, rather than having to pack it away every time you want to move a laptop, as is the case with webcams that clip to the top of the monitor. The image-flip button is really useful if you need to quickly switch between face & document. For me, the manual focus is the key feature of this camera. I've had ongoing problems with auto-focus cameras phasing in & out of focus. This webcam resolves the problem. I'm a little puzzled about the range of the focus, as it provides a good image when rotated as far as it can go in an anti-clockwise direction, but adjusting it clockwise very quickly takes it out of any useful range - not even at macro level - so I'm a bit confused as to what purpose anything but the setting to the extreme left has. That being said, set to it's limits to the left/anti-clockwise position, it focuses on the face well and the focal range is impressive, so I can have the camera trained on anything/anyone from a distance of 8cm to many metres from the camera and it remains in sharp focus. So, despite the manual focus being really more of a fixed focus, its focal range is very good and eliminates any unwanted phasing & adjustments from an auto-focus camera.Overall, it's a useful webcam for situations where very high quality images aren't crucial, and I think it's well worth its £19.99.

This camera works well for the intended purpose of video calls from a more natural angle. More compact plus blocks less screen than using a regular webcam on a tripod. The clamp is strong, so I clipped it to a book instead of my monitor to prevent damage to the screen. The manual focus, image flip, and brightness adjustment work well. Since it's manual focus, you do have to sit in one spot to get a clear image, so keep that in mind. One downside is the microphone, which is of low quality and picks up a lot of background static even after adjusting the gain and using it in a very quiet room. Not a big deal considering the price and good enough for basic calls, but I use a separate microphone for more professional audio.

The Danyesth Eye Contact Webcam for PC comes boxed with a handy carry pouch should one want to take it out and about. It's a very sturdy camera with a hefty clip. I have clipped it to my laptop, but really it's more suitable for clipping onto a desk or worktop as it's quite chunky, so one needs to exercise a bit of caution if clipping it onto a screen. The gooseneck great for quick and easy movements as the camera can be aimed at absolutely any direction and not just face on as is the case with a built-in laptop webcam. This offers maximum filming/steaming flexibility. It has a built-in mic too. There are three buttons on the top of the camera. One is for brightness up and the other for brightness down. The third button has a dual purpose. A quick press will rotate the camera picture, a long press will mirror/unmirror the image. The only slight downside is the manual focus. This is adjusted by twisting the camera lens (it's quite stiff). This means that for example, if you focus it on your face then maybe move it to show something in the room or to point it downwards to show a document, the focus on the object in the room/document may not be quite as good. I personally haven't really found this too much of an issue with my home office set up, but maybe depending on light conditions etc you may have to refocus it if you move it.I use video a lot for my work, both making videos and for doing video calls, and I've found this to be just the thing I was looking for for certain jobs and situations. I don't really know how to use video editing software for videos, and for live video calls it has come in useful for showing my clients other things other than my face, as I can easily move the camera to pan around the room for example. All in all, for a budget price point of £19.99 at the time of writing this review, in my humble opinion I think it's well worth the money.

This camera is good. A few things I love about it is the flexibility and the angles you can get. On top of that, the clamp feels firm and strong. I like clamping it on my computer and its stable. Obviously, if you move your computer the camera moves as well, but it moves with it and remains still after. The camera quality is actually quite nice. Some people mention its grainy, but given its price, its fair for what it is.The negative is that the camera I received stutters for no reason. It could be my computer, but I noticed that every now and then the camera image would have a glitch effect. Like it would flash colors and become distorted for a moment.Though overall, it's a camera that gets the job done.Update: I had it for a few weeks and still works as intended. I don't regret the purchase and it's a camera that I recommend if you want an all-in-one camera setup with no hassle. Also, buying from this seller is helpful, as they have contacted me to resolve any issues.

With laptops or cell phones with built-in cameras, the camera view is relatively straight on to your face. However, with large desktop displays, the camera is usually above your head looking down on you. Worse yet, if you have multiple displays, it can be both down on you and well off to one side. This Danyesth camera has the flexibility to be mounted in a position better suited to some desktop configurations. In that regard, as far as I have found, this camera is unique. It is also fairly inexpensive. Now for the limitations. The camera does not have an autofocus, only manual focus by rotating the lens housing. Privacy is provided by putting a supplied cap on the lens. Removing it can be a little difficult and the tendency is to pull on it while rotating it. This can alter the camera focus. This is not a big issue, just something to note when using the camera. Another potential shortcoming is the length of the flexible tubing on which the camera is mounted. In my case, it was barely long enough to reach the edge of the display. The reason for wanting it on the edge is apparent from the included picture. Another reason the length could be an issue is that the mounting clamp has a very strong spring, and it probably needs to be that strong to provide a solid mount. However, I believe it is too strong to mount to the edge of a frameless (they all are today) display. The only place I had to mount the camera was to the vertical brace leading from the display base to the display screen in the center of the back of the display. Other displays may present better or less desirable options. There was no place on the desk surface on which it could be mounted. The mounting clamp can be seen in the picture just below the screen on the display on the right. Another shortcoming is that it doesn't have any zoom capability, and it has a pretty wide angle field of view.Lastly, I used the Windows built-in Camera application with which to setup the camera. It presents some settings from which you can set up several operating options. On of those is to "Show Advanced Controls...". The default was off, but I set it to On. One of the advanced controls shown was Autofocus. Knowing that the camera documentation stated that the camera was manual focus, I wondered what would happen if I turned autofocus on. Don't do it. The camera went into an on/off loop that powering off and on and restarting the camera application would not correct. I eventually recovered from it, but that is too long a process to document here.Bottom line: I am pleased with the camera because it allows me to do something I have wanted for some time and could not accomplish otherwise.
