First I want to say that solo guitars is really good .Fast shipping ,and orders are on the money . This Fender 3 way switch is not that good . Really cheaply made .The middle position didn't work..The metal leg was not making contact with lugs .Easy fix though..And you get no screws with it ??How you supposed to attach it to control plate ,superglue? Spare yourself some headaches get another switch.

Just opened the package and was disappointed to see it didn't come with the mounting screws. I'm building a Tele (not just replacing a defective switch) so need them.

The perfect selector switch for a Fender whose switch was less than solid and exact in finding a solid position. Switch snaps (silently) into position.

If you want to move from 5 way to 3 way in your strat because you never play blues but you have the YJM setup :) then this is it. It is NOT the smoothest selector in the world as it uses the "vintage" correct spring approach to lock. So there is a fine click when you change positions fast which in low volumes can be annoying. Might wear off with time. The good thing is it LOCKS properly and also is rock solid, very well made. Easy to solder if you know what your are doing. I am generally very happy as it feels very sturdy and somehow cleared up the one of the guitar a bit (although that might come own to the previous failing selector as well..)

Thought the switch was identical to the one I replaced but after soldering the wires I found that the switch connections were opposite and I had to re-solder. Also had to file down the stem as this was to wide for the plastic knob I had. Switch works fine and does the job.
