The TD records water temperature every 5-feet from the surface to the bottom and can be used to help you locate fish by finding their preferred water temperature. It has two operation modes and samples multiple times per second for unmatched accuracy.

The very first time I used it, it locked up. I pressed start and lowered it to 100 ft on my downrigger ball. When retrieved it said 44 at 100ft but looked like moisture had gotten in and it would not respond to pressing View. Now it’s just totally dead. What a disappointment. This gadget is a great concept, but I wish I could find one that is more reliable and includes dissolved oxygen readings. Maybe also Bluetooth with an accompanying app that creates a graph of parameters.

Works great accept there is no replaceable battery so when it's done, the unit is useless. Very expensive for a one and done?

This is very simple to use and it works just as they said it would. I have had no issues with it. If you want the temps in the water column, this is the way to go.

This item arrived in flimsy packaging and did not work at all. Did not even turn on. We have sent it back. Very disappointing.

This is an impressive device and seems to work well and be accurate. Unfortunately just over a year old now and out of warranty and the screen seems to be malfunctioning.Update: contacted the manufacturer and they immediately replaced it with a new one. Great support and a solid product.
