This thing requires you to have an expensive subscription to use any of the features it promotes. Even the SOS button. Then when you figure that out, you can’t return it from this seller. Do not buy, or if really must. Get it from Amazon direct not a third party like this one.

We will use this GPS primarily for geocaching. We're excited about the upgrades including the GPS connects with wifi directly and a computer no longer needed to download caches

I should have purchased this unit first. Screen is very clear and easy to read. Maps of North America are accurate and up to date. Overall great unit for hunting and ATV exploring.

Reason I bought it was because I have Garmin Xero A1i pro scope and it was required to have 67i to send location of target. Lot of maps that of course you have to pay, but it is worth it. Perfect for hiking and hunting. You can’t really on your mobile phone on open. Battery life is crucial when you are out. With free simple messages you can inform your close family and love that option. Monthly subscription $15 but it is worth it. Could save your life if you are in trouble and don’t have cellular network.

I upgraded from my 5 yr old Inreach Explorer+. Graphics better, but overall too complicated for me (and Im usually pretty good with tech). I just wanted to add routes and some tracks, which I have done many times on the previous Inreach. Was not as simple as just go Routes > Navigate route. HArd to explian, and maybe just me, but my brother in law had same issues. Seems (to me) like they designed simplicaity right out of it. Evden some of the locations of functions rearranged (worse than an Adobe upgrade) YMMV

the Garmin 67i is amazing! I'm using it on my property in very thick and tall pine forest. Satellite reception and accuracy is higher than any other gps i've used. I was hesitant of purchasing this gps due to the cost. Now i'm so glad i did. Get off the fence, and buy it. You will not be disappointed. You will need a bit of time to get used to or learn the menu features but all gps's have that in common. I will say that, in my experience, the 67i is the easy to learn and use. Of course, i'm not the expert and haven't used every gps out there, so take that advise for what it's worth.
