I often found myself getting my clothes dirtied or burned myself fiddling with soldering projects. Then I got this apron, and I'll never work without it. The thick denim material is very durable and can stop falling hot solder without leaving a burn mark. On top of that you have ample pocket space and when sitting down, you have a net to catch anything that rolls off your work space right between your legs. The black colors help you feel less like a pie baking grandma but honestly I would wear a frilly pink one if if was this useful. I can store my pliers wrenches and screwdrivers right there at my chest for easy access. I recommend anyone that tinkers on electronics and such to invest in a good apron like this.

I got a good price on this canvas apron so I'm happy. However, if I had to pay much more the following two things would bother me: 1) the short apron strings, as many others have mentioned and 2) the single stitching which won't last long. I purchased a similar apron previously on Amazon which had single stitching and it fell apart slowing over the year. Hopefully this one will last longer. As for the tie strings, I merely extended the strings so I can tie them in front. Works great.

This apron is made of a nice thick cotton canvas that feels very durable. All but one of the pocket corners are reinforced with rivets. It is a good size to keep my front protected from spills and it has plenty of pockets. The stitching is not of particularly good quality. It's good enough, but the lines are a little uneven and the stitch lengths are not consistent. This is made more obvious because the thread is white in contrast to the black apron. The strap is made of a sturdy cotton material, but it is a little thin. It is connected with a thin faux leather material that does not seem particularly durable, but time will tell on that. I wish the strap was a little longer - I prefer to tie the apron and it is barely long enough to do so on my 170lb 5'9" frame. It would also be better if the straps had a clasp on the end - I will probably add one.The hanging loop is again a high quality strap material with an attractive tricolor design. It should probably be attached with more stitching for durability, but it's good enough.

A pretty decent work apron, but just too many minor annoyances for me. YMMVThe strap.I guess I've been spoiled by an apron with buckles. You fuss with it once to get the lengths right, then it's really easy. This still uses the basic tie-in-back approach, with a cross-over patch that slides around really easily. So there's a fair of of fussing involved every single time I put it on :-(Also the straps aren't particularly generous. If I have to tie in back I like long straps, to make big loops, and thick straps or round cords for easier untying. Not these.Nothing like fighting with a knot behind your back when you're tired and trying to quickly get it off at the end of the day :-(Probably won't bother some people though. The blaze orange pocket highlights.Sorry, not cute. Just annoyingly distracting. The many skinny deep pockets and few wide pockets.Webbing straps inside deep wide pockets work much better for me than really skinny deep pockets. Again, YMMV.The one pocket with a flap and tab. It's nice to have a few pockets with dust flaps, preferably with a secure closure.Only one. And it turns out that tab isn't to help you pull open a velcro closure or anything, it's just flopping around for .... looks I guess? On the short side at 26" vs a typical 33". Could be nice for petite folk.I do like the fabric weight and washability.I'm looking to replace a (finally) wearing out heavy waxed canvas apron, and this cloth seems to be a really good alternative.I wouldn't let it have 4-stars if I could point to significantly better comparable apron, but I can't. This is actually a pretty good option from what I've seen out there.Maybe they'll make an even better one next.

UPDATE: After 1 year, this apron has held up exceptionally well under regular use. Primarily used during home renovations (tiling, woodwork, etc.). All seams are intact, no failure points and still comfortable. Leaving it as a 4 star rating due to the waist tie, but that may not bother others.I've been using Deluth Trading's "Best Darn Work Apron" for years and consider it the gold standard for heavy duty work aprons. But at $60, it's not cheap. The GREBSTK is a well made apron at half the cost of Deluth's. Stitching is solid with few if any strands/pulls. Plenty of pockets, both covered and open. Buckles and rivets are of good quality and well secured. The material is somewhere between a heavy denim and light canvas. Should hold up well depending on intended use. A nice feature on this apron is a hanging loop which Duluth's doesn't have. It's a small detail, but consistent with the overall design of the apron.A couple of observations to reflect the 4 vs 5 star review. Some of these are just personal preference:-The apron is rather short, riding well above the knees.-The cross strap design is comfortable on the shoulders, but the waist strap is awkward to tie. Much prefer the Deluth snap design in this regard as it makes it very easy to get on/off.-The pockets are great, but most of them have an open top making them a liability for wood working as saw dust collects inside.I see this as a good hobbyist option but not well suited for a shop or trade work environment.
