LayorCare Heavy Calcium Releaser (Acid Free) | Pool Calcium Remover
Blast the Calcium - Not the tile! This powerful cleaner is all you need to quickly remove heavy
calcium and mineral deposits for all pool tile and decks, natural stone, rock water features and
more. Will not affect water pH and won’t etch most surfaces.
• Heavy Calcium Releaser may etch some surfaces. Always test in an inconspicuous area first.
• Before applying Releaser, scrub surface of calcium with scrubbing pad or scraper blade to break up first layor of scum.
• Apply product liberally to scrubbed surfaces and let sit several minutes. Product will bubble, showing it is working.
• Scrub the area again, breaking the next layor of scum. Calcium will come off in layors just as it built up.
• Apply product and repeat until area is completely clean of calcium buildup.
• Rinse thoroughly when finished.
• Let dry completely before applying LayorCare Sealers.
• Always use full strength--DO NOT DILUTE.
• Covers approximately 300 sq ft/gallon.

How To Apply

Product will bubble showing it is working. 4) Scrub area again, breaking the next layer of scum. Calcium will come off in layers just as it built up. 5) Apply product and repeat until area is completely clean of calcium buildup. 6) Rinse thoroughly when finished. 7) Let dry completely before applying LayorCare Sealers. 8) For more aggressive cleaning this product can be heated to approximately 10 degrees warmer than the outside air temperature.

It is the best we have found. The photo is what we have to keep up with. My husband sprays this stuff on it and it definitely softens up the white calcium buildup that he can then scrape or brush off much easier. We haven't done it for a while and that's why the calcium is showing again.

We had neglected the swimming pool tile for several years. This product did not make a dent in the calcium. It did foam up as per instructions but didn't remove the scale. I might be effective it used regularly to remove a light build-up.

Got no results, other than losing my fingernails and fingerprints. Scrubbed the pool tiles at least 5 times with this expensive spray and I didn't get any results until I replaced the spray with a bottle of CLR. CLR removed the white residue on the tile with a lot less effort.

I have a light white line on my tiles. Maybe it's not calcium, Im not sure. It is not raised so scraping does nothing. This product did not get rid of the line after several days of going back over tiles. It didn't work for me but then maybe my issue is not calcium.

Requires multiple applications, but does work better than other alternatives for do it your selfers. The best thing about the product is the ability to clean a large surface area without leaving scratches from more abrasive techniques. I had over calcified my pool due to bad standards using a meter and the result was much scaling around the pool for some time. This product helped alot and gave me a great alternative to having someone fix my error for a couple grand. You can descale your tiles within a day with this product.
