I was surprised by how easily and how quickly it cut by myself. Two people would definitely have made it easier but I had no problems on my own.I used this to cut 8”-12” pin oak limbs that was 30-40 feet up. Very hard and heavy wood and it did a great job without wearing my self out. Also, it stayed sharp throughout the day.Tip: a larger diameter rope goes a long way! (I used 1” anchor rope with SS clips on the ends.)Tip #2: Be ready to get out of the way when sawing high limbs.

As strange as this product sounds, it does work. I’ve been trimming a 50 ft tree, prob not designed for delimbing a large tree, but it will do it.

Very happy so far with the chain. It is sharp and so far it has help up without breaking. It is cheap and probably won't last too long, but return on investment is paying off.

My very first try at cutting a high branch, about four inches diameter, went smoothly and quickly. It cuts easily and quickly, and I had the branch down in just a few minutes. Worked great!

It works , a little learning curve, but works awesome. What I learned going through a 18-in limb was you need two people to bring out the ropes to a 45° angle, otherwise it wants to bite too hard ,mine was 25 ft in the air and I used a fishing rod and a bolt tied to the line casted it through the spot I wanted cut then pulled the Rope up once I figured out the distance Cut the Rope insert the chain and tie the other end of the Rope and pull it up. The second major thing is when you're pulling the other person has to completely let off the tension otherwise it wants to dig and is very hard to dragging the chain across the wood just pulling across the wood saw dust comes out and is very easy to go back and forth. This is not a Brute Force and horsepower thing just a simple movement back and forth keeps it cutting and making progress. About 45 minutes with a couple of breaks in there, it is definitely a tricep workout but it is done and did not have to get a tree guy out here to climb up I figure I saved 400 bucks.

This thing is very handy however I found that you really need two people. The reason I say that is the theeth are a little aggressive and bite if you don’t separate the lines. All in all it works. Don’t be in a hurry and recruit someone. Yes I would buy again.

This product put simple, works!!! We use para-cord as rope and attached it to the supplied clips. We sawed through several 14” diameter branches about 35 foot up in our oak trees. Now sunlight can get to the ground so our grass can grow.
