If you are ready to have the fresh, sweet scent of the Florida Keys right in your own home, then Gerald Winters and Son Plants is proud to introduce you to our newest offering – Key Lime Tree. This Starter Tree is grown from seed and is currently between 3” and 5” in height above soil. It will continue to grow either outdoor, or indoor when temperatures reach freezing temperature. For colder winter months, you can replace direct sunlight with UV Grow Lights with no loss of development. They can vary in size, but are quick growing, so even a smaller plant will be considerably larger in a couple of weeks. Our horticulturists have planted, grown and nurtured our Key Lime trees since seed, and have cared for them for a minimum of 4 months. They are well rooted, healthy, and ready to be adopted into your family, to bring you years of joy. Being hardy, and strong, they are ready to be acclimated to your home, so you can continue to nurture them and watch them grow larger, so that in a couple of years they will be fruit-bearing. Each customer receives a free seed to plant, so you can grow a sister tree to keep company. Each customer receives a free seed to plant, so you can grow a sister tree to keep company. Each plant is wrapped in bubble wrap to protect against damage in transit. Adopt one today.

Here is what mine looks like after 1 year. I just moved it to a bigger pot. Healthy, good growth rate.

This won't let me leave a 5 star for some reason, but for reals, I has no idea how it would handle shipping. This tree is in perfect condition. It appears healthy and vital and I am loving it.

Bought 2.5 years ago. Still alive and growing but not producing yet. Might be a “grower error” but I keep trying! Water it about 2 times a week and no UV light currently. Going to add that next and will update again in a few months.Love it overall! One day it will be growing limes (I hope!).

I received a very beautiful Key Lime tree transplant and I appreciate the care you took to insure that I would receive a beautiful healthy plant. I do wish there was a link on step by step instructions of care, from the moment I open up the package, to months and a year down the line. In order to allow this little tree every advantage of growing up healthy. What was in the white bag? There wasn't any information on what that is. Do I need to buy one more for Pollinating, would be one question I would like to know. Thank you again.

The plant was packaged perfectly! I can tell it was handled with care!!! I am pleased with the quality!! They included care instructions, and one seed with instructions as well. Nice touch! I'm looking forward to where my journey goes with this little plant!!Update: The smaller part of the plant has died. The larger one is still thriving. We shall see the outcome.2nd Update 11/24/2023: Well what was left of the plant was thriving, but now it is not doing well at all. The leaves have started to curl inward. I don't think it's the provider, however, I believe it is user error. Be careful where you sit your plant in your home. I believe this curling is from heat since I had it sitting in the widow, as well as my heater vent was almost directly above the plant. If the provider will advise me on how I can save this plant, that would be amazing. I have using YouTube to try to provide a solution to save it!
