This fit our needs exactly. We like to leave a spare key for when our handyman is coming to do work on our house so he can come and go as needed even without us there. This keybox is ideal for leaving him a key for easy access. My one concern is the plastic cover may not be the most weatherproof, but so far it's been fine.

We purchased this outdoor lock to house our spare house keys and garage door opener. I left it secured outside our home, which is located in a foggy part of coastal California. It has not rained since we’ve moved in, only fog. When I went to take out the spare keys, I found it filled with rusted water. The keys and opener had been sitting in water inside the box. The electronic garage door opener is ruined. Do not buy this product if you’re wanting to place it outside. It does not handle the elements.

Really nice system whereby rust doesn’t affect the lock key. I used to buy the other ones without the lids and after 6-8 months, rust from the rain started affecting them. This is of course only for locks left in an unsheltered place. Although this is the same price as the others that don’t have a face guard.You might as well buy this one. It’s very large too, can fit in two sets of keys easily.

This is easy to use and had big numbers. The cover keeps it dry. Very handy having it attached to our iron railings so easier to use than one we would have had to drill into the wall.

Love the durability. As a realtor I love the large button that opens it to reveal the key inside once you dial the code. This feature alone makes it easy for myself and my clients to use. I just find using other locks with a tiny button to roll down hard to use. This lock is great. Anyone can use it. And it's easy to personalize the code too.
