This bag fits my husbands lap steel guitar perfectly. Good padding to protect the guitar, room for a few extras in the pockets.

Needed a carrying case for a 34 inch long dulcimer. Ended up being the perfect size!

This is a perfect fit for the Batking/Harley Benton/Gear4Music, etc., lap steel sold around the world under a few different names. The bonus is that the screw-in legs fit as well, just be sure to use some bubble wrap to prevent damage to the finish.I’m very pleased with this gig bag, it enabled me to take the instrument out to gigs much more easily.Five stars!

This bag will serve as my gig bag for my '55 Fender Studio Deluxe lap steel guitar.PROs:- Good fit but I will add some extra foam on the bottom, top, and side to prevent the instrument from moving around.- The quality seems to be decent although the backpack straps feel a little cheap and inadequate considering the weight of the guitar.- Can't beat the price.CONs:- The padding could be a little thicker- The accessory compartment zipper is too short to accommodate the storage of the three legs. (For the "Champ" model this is not an issue since it doesn't come with legs.)VERDICT:Overall I'm happy with this purchase.Until I ordered this GEBIBB bag I had spent quite some time to find an adequate gig bag for my lap steel. (I don't want to drag the heavy original in great condition tweed case to gigs.) They were either too long, too wide, or too expensive. And yes, I did look at gun cases or keyboard cases, too.I will need to find/make a bag for the three screw-in legs. Probably better anyway because of weight concerns (backpack straps too weak.)To be sure, this case is not meant to be used for heavy touring, bus/plane transportation, etc. A hard/flight case would be a better choice. But you probably knew that already.

I bought this for my vintage Magnatone lap steel as it's original case was starting to fall apart. The Magnatone fits well-enough, and the front pocket will hold a lot of stuff. I keep a small case with my bar, tuner and picks in the front pocket, plus a spare bar; I could add the volume-pedal cable plus the amp cable, and there would still be room (it's not a good size for 8 1/2x11" paper though). I really appreciate the patch above the headstock as the ends of the strings could snag the material otherwise. The interior is 34" long by 7 3/4" wide, so a bit a long for the Magnatone and a lot long for a Rogue (see photo) - it fits well enough for walking around but I wouldn't use it on a plane.Though it seems padded enough for a lap steel, I'm a bit paranoid so I have a piece from a cut-up yoga mat that I place over the front of the lap steel for peace of mind so that the Magnatone stays in excellent condition. The handle could be placed a bit off-center to make for better carrying but I rarely carry it very far as I need a cart to haul all my gear.All-in-all, I would buy this again if I needed another lap steel gig bag.
