I wanted to hang additional lighting (LED 8 foot light strips) in my basement but did not want to hardwire them in. These took care of the problem. I was able to screw the socket outlet adapter into the original light socket and plug the LED lights into those. Worked perfect!

We replaced a cheap flat LED ceiling light with a traditional light socket so we could add better lighting for the indoor plants, but we also needed an outlet in this area. It's an older home, so outlets are limited and this worked perfectly. We were able to use the bulb we needed and still have additional power options in the area.

Works good for the space that I needed it in I have a garage it does not have very many plugs and this helped out for some LED lights that I put up

1. Although photos shows three prong outlets, including the photo showing two adapters, only one side has three prongs. The other side has only a two prong outlet. 2. Like many other reviewers, a bulb plugged into these adapters didn't work in the location I needed. However, when I tried one in a floor lamp, with an LED bulb, it worked perfectly. I brought it back to the original location and it did work with the LED bulb, but not with the original incandescent. If you find that it doesn't work for you, try using a different type of bulb.

Easy to install un the light bulb socket. Value for money and good useability. Not much durable.

The first one screwed in but was not straight in the socket, it looked like it was cross-threaded and the bulb did not work. I unscrewed the adapter from the light socket (or tried too) but it basically came apart, leaving the threads in the socket which I had to get a pair of needle-nose pliers to get it out.No big deal, stuff happens, and I have a second one....well, the second one, while put together better than the first one did not work either. I even took the bulb out, thinking maybe the first one shorted the led bulb, nope, the bulb worked the second one is a piece of **** as well...even tried it in a different socket with no luck.On both adapters I lightly hand tightened them until they were barely snug, so it wasn't a matter of me cranking down on them either.

I used these to connect security cameras to my existing light fixtures while keeping the light functionality. They have worked well for months now. They are worth the price to avoid having to have electricy routed to a new area. They fit in my fixtures with room to spare for the security camera plugs. Easy to install and plug in items. Doesn't effect light output.

These are nice to have to be able to plug extra cords into when you don't have an outlet within reach. Be sure they are the right ones for your socket, there are also some with pullcords that fit another application. Well made, screw in easily.
