These clips were delivered quickly and were of very good quality. Unfortunately, they weren't exactly what we needed for our professional construction site, but we are going to keep them and make use of them.

This thing is enormous. It's made for specific applications that only a huge carabiner would do. For example, I bought it to attach to the top of a 10-ft platform step ladder to provide a convenient safety harness attachment point. This huge carabiner is the only one I could find on Amazon with a large enough opening and a throat deep enough for that application. The locking ring is spring-loaded. It's very well constructed and is very easy to use.

Yup it does exactly what it's supposed to. I have a pair of them on a duel positioning rig. Let's me clip onto truss while I work.

I know that most potential buyers of this carabiner will be using it in a professional setting. I purchased it for a different kind of consumer use.This thing is heavy, huge, solid. This monster is the carabiner you find yourself posing with, in front of a mirror.I bought it because I’m a big woman, 250 pounds (sigh). I bought a hammock chair which is supposed to support 500 pounds of weight. I wanted to be sure I was safe in this chair, even if I jumped into it with all my strength and weight.The wide gate on this carabiner allowed me to attach it safely to my covered porch. The carabiner supports 3,000 pounds, far more than is required for my hammock chair and my voluptuous butt. I can now float fearlessly and a bit enormously into the air.I heartily recommend this carabiner... hope I’ve been helpful!

Wow! This thing is heavy! Very sturdy and locking mechanism works just fine. Not very rosy gold as in the picture (not that that is a bad thing). Came with a booklet that is very helpful

Hook was not as pictured. The little bar at the bottom of the hook was not on the hook that I received.
