Simply put, the best I've used in five decades of snorkeling--superb mouthpiece and requires next to no effort to breathe.

I love this old-school snorkel. Basic and comfortable, with no bells and whistles.

If you need a water blocker on the top of your snorkel, you might want to stay out of that water. This is a simple snorkel of high quality. Recommended!

We used these on our recent trip to blue waters. Works great, durable and lasted many dives. No issues here.

I took this on a trip to Cozumel for snorkeling as a substitute for the plastic one they give you on the boat, and it was worth every penny. The one way valve to expel water worked perfectly. The mouth piece was incredibly comfortable to have in for a couple hours and didn't require biting down at all. I actually ordered the snorkel by this company shuts on top, but it didn't come in time so I canceled the order. Honestly though, I don't think I would have needed it as diving down and blowing out with this snorkel was so easy, I don't think spending the extra money would have been worth it. I'll definitely recommend this one to others.

Good basic well made snorkel : comfortable and simple and does its job. the flexible arch made it easy to pack in luggage for vacation and feels comfortable while snorkeling. The clip (instead of a closed loop) makes it easy to take on/off the mask. exactly what i was looking for

I am an avid snorkeler, and have had trouble finding a snorkel that is comfortable and fits my needs. When buying a snorkel, I look for something that sits comfortably in the mouth, is low profile, has a purge valve, and has a good mask clip. I don't like too many bells and whistles because they can fail, but I do look for a purge valve.I just used this snorkel for a week long snorkeling trip to Cozumel, and it fits all of these criteria!!! To start, this is the most comfortable mouthpiece I have ever experienced. In the past, I have dealt with mouthpieces that require me to bite down to keep them in place, which just isn't comfortable and can make my teeth ache. The Ergo Flex mouthpiece sits in the mouth very naturally, and you hardly have to bite at all! The silicone is also very durable- after a full snorkeling vacation there are zero teethmarks! The flexible hose allows the snorkel to conform to the shape of your face, which reduces strain on the mask and helps keep the mouthpiece in place. The purge valve is very simple and worked perfectly. It stayed completely out of my field of view and never got in the way; it is very low profile. I love that it's clear- this allows you to see into the valve so you can double check for debris when cleaning or in the event you encounter a problem, while on an excursion. I also love the mask clip. It is a swivel clip, which allows for an extra level of adjustment. This increases comfort and allows for an even better fit.I love to free dive, and when I snorkel I spend little time at the surface. This snorkel is extremely hydrodynamic. I normally have problems with my snorkel shaking all over the place when I dive down and resurface, but the Ergo stayed secure the entire time. This is hands down the best snorkel I have ever used! Highly recommend! (fairly priced too)

The snorkel has an atypical mouthpiece, which is larger in overall size than other snorkels. The plastic bite plate is also unusual, at least in my experience. The main airway is good and large, and it seems easy to clear. Overall, the snorkel is well constructed.
