The 1/2-inch spacing vinyl coated grids are extremely durable to provide years of use & are comfortable for your dog's paws. The elevated dog crate floor grids sit above the leak-proof pan in the dog crate by attaching onto the dog crate's side panels. In the event your dog has to use the bathroom in the crate the leak-proof pan below the floor grid will catch the mess. The pan can slide out of the crate for easy & hygienic cleaning without having to remove the floor grid from the dog crate. Please note you will only be purchasing the elevated dog crate floor grid, the metal dog crate is a separate purchase. You will also not be able to use the dog crate's divider panel in conjunction w/ the dog crate floor grid. These floor grids are a life saver when weining pups . They pee they poop goes thru the grid and keeps it away from the puppy when in the crate . They last a long time and have a rubber coating on them to help with walking on for pups.

Although this wasn’t made for the kennel that I have, the measurements were close. I’m so glad that I got this. It took some wrestling to get it in but now I wake up to a puppy not covered in poop. It’s easy to put puppy pads in the tray and keeps messes away from my little pup. It came in a huge box but inside was only a portion of the box it was shipped in.

This is a great solution for my senior dog who is having trouble with incontinence. I was a bit worried about it fitting my kennel as it is a different brand but it fit perfectly. I did have to think for a minute about how to actually get it in there but it worked. It is sturdy and even though my old girl is giving me the evil eye, it is keeping her clean and dry!

I purchased the extra large size 46 1/2 L x 30. 2 W (approximate measurements) to use for my two small shitzu mix & pomeranian puppy. The slits are close together so that little paws won't get stuck yet works great to keep paws clean away from urine puddles and poop. Hope my pups enjoy this new addition to their pee pad area. I elected to buy a used one that was offered and saved about $7.00 on the price. There were a few bent metal ends but did not affect it's functionality or use. Highly recommend to others to use as a grate on top of a stainless steel pee pad to prevent odors and mess on floor. Paws are dry when stepping off grate.

I use these with my eight week old puppy crate and use pee pads underneath it so that every time she uses the bathroom, it falls through and gets absorbed by the P pad. Greatest combination makes Coming home after work having to clean or create so much easier wish I had discovered this when I had my other two puppies!

I was not expecting it to be so sturdy for the price. I'm impressed! It fit perfectly in my wire crate above the pan. I actually take the pan out and have two crates set on a 12" wooden frame with holes on one end where my high velocity dryer air in funneled. It dries my Cavaliers from underneath and does an excellent job. Previously I was using a cut out rubber mat which they'd eventually tear up. We're in good shape now! Bought 2!

I use this on top of the pee trays of my two dogs so they can pee and not worry about wet paws around the house. Most pee trays have grids so pee can go through but they are too shallow and still make paws wet. With the added elevation this grid provides, you are assured that the paws will remain clean and dry! Just make sure you splash/rinse the grid with water after your dog pees.

I bought this to fit the 48" MidWest iCrate Folding Metal Dog Crate I bought here on Amazon. The fit was perfect (Should be since it's the same company)https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000QFWCLY/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0I have been crate training my pup for a few weeks now, I have a VERY furry Siberian Husky and after the first week of me going to work we have our first accidents (mostly because I got home late!) I would find his fur soiled from having soaked up all the urine. It happened a few times and I had to bathe him much too often for his health and my liking, so I bought this floor grate.Let me tell you it has absolutely 100% solved the problem!Now if he can't hold it in until I get home he can safely urinate and it all falls down to the plastic beneath. I put some training pads underneath on the plastic floor and cleanup is a breeze on the rare accidents. He even threw up one night, without making noise as my bed is right next to him and I didn't hear a thing. and I found the puke fell through the grates, luckily enough to avoid him eating it or soiling himself.I have a camera set up to look in on him and talk to him, so I can see that he is still a good boy and works very hard to hold it in, so hopefully as he grows then we will no longer need the grate.However, I will still use it because it also helps air circulate underneath him to keep him nice and cool. I can tell he much prefers to be in the crate with the floor grate compared to just the plastic floor. I can see him sleeping belly up (a very good sign that he is comfy and happy) with this floor, he was not as calm before because the plastic probably heated up as he lay on it.5 stars.Note it is heavy, the wire on the floor grate is much thicker than the crate's, a good thing since it can hold a dog up to 120 lbs I believe.Only recommendation to the manufacturer is to add some kind of support in the middle of the floor grate (there is none). The grate can sag in the center especially once the dog starts getting heavier, doesn't yet with my pup at 20lbs but have a feeling once he gets closer to 70 it may be an issue.Could not find a better solution so I still give it 5 stars!
