The lid is near impossible to get on. You can get it started but but it won't go on straight then you can't get it off.

This container is perfect to keep the food for my large dog fresh it seals really well. It holds a very good amount of food and since I have a large dog, it’s nice that the food doesn’t go bad and I can store it for a while and it will be fresh.

The gamma seal ring was damaged from what appears to be factory because in picture ring has a tear on it but lid was undamaged. I had a spare gamma seal lid around and replaced it because I’m too lazy to return but a tear like that sent out from factory seems like sloppy work. Container seems sturdy and with new gamma seal lid seems like it will work for my needs!

Strong, Sturdy, Great Seal... yes, it's tough to open, however, I applied some vegetable oil around the seal, and now it's super easy to open and close.

If you have dogs like mine they smell food from 6 miles away. I have tried other containers and this has been my best purchase ever. It holds a large bag of dog food and has an airtight lid. It comes with a scooper on the inside as well. My dogs can't get into like they could with those other containers. I like the color and the shape of this container as I am able to place it in a corner and no one knows I have dog food in the room. Hands down one of the best containers I have purchased and I have been a dog owner for over 20 years. I am going back to get another one for their treats. You are going to love this for your pet food.

I feed the neighborhood feral cats (who have been neutered and vaccinated). Due to all of the other critters that live nearby, the bowl is now in my gated covered entryway (still doesn’t deter the !%*#! birds). I totally freaked out when I picked up the food bowl before going to bed, and found it swarming with tiny ants, and I was bitten 3 times. The plastic food storage container with a hinged snap-down lid had also been invaded! I covered dish and container with food-grade diatomaceous earth, and searched for a solution.I already have the correct bowls, with a tiny moat around the bottom that needs to be filled with water. I had gotten lazy, so needed to go back to deterring ants from the bowl.The storage container was literally a bigger deal, and I didn’t want to throw away 20+ pounds of food, or expose the cats to chemicals. I had seen a similar storage container at a significantly higher price, and didn’t think I needed it.Not only are there ants, but raccoons have banged through the gate at 2AM, trying to steal the cat food. They’re loud enough that they wake me and I chase them away. (They’re also why I no longer leave any food out overnight!) This storage container is sturdy, it seals completely, and no ant or larger animal has breached it!It is also important to mention that I have arthritis in my hands, yet am able to easily open the top to get to the cat food, and to lift the container.This is the perfect choice for me!

El producto llegó en buen estado, igual a la imagen y viene con sellos para que no entre contaminación externa o insectos, su cuchara viene incluida, hay que tomar en cuenta las medidas de alimento para que no le des tanta deacuerdo con el tamaño de tu peludito, funcional para cualquier tipo de alimento y le caben un poco más de 18 kg excelente y lo volvería a comprar.

Compro un costal de 25 kilos para mis perritos, al bote no le caben los 25, un kilo y medio queda fuera pero no es problema, viene con cuchara (la gris) yo compre la azul porque no sabia que venia la otra.Muy buena compra si quieres almacenar y mantener la comida fresca.

I got this for my elderly mother for ease of having a good quantity of seeds to feed birds and something that seals well to keep mice out. This serves the purposes well! The opening is large so she can get her hands in and out easily along with the scoop. The rolling component is wonderful so she can move it in the garage.

Comparable in pricing. Very durable, lid is very hard to get off & on(the only reason I gave it 4 stars)Maybe over time it will get easier. Easy to clean. This particular one is compact & easily stores out of sight. And best of all, keeps these tiny ants out of the pet food!

I bought something similar before I bought this one because what I had originally bought didn't seem like it could stand up to the test of constant use and time. Turns out this one doesn't look like it will either but I kept it anyway. It's the right size for an 18 pound bag of small dog kibble and it's easy to tuck away where it won't get in the way.The container is thinwalled, not like the one I bought 20 years ago that I use for the cat's food. The lid is interesting. You unscrew it and it seems like it won't unscreww but it actually has but you can't feel that it has. So you keep unscrewing it. Actually, the lid has unscrewed but it's held on tight because of the lid's seal. Screwing the lid back on takes some doing too because the lid doesn't seem to want to line up with the container. However, once you get the lid back on you will have a tight seal to keep the food fresh.Overall, not made like they used to be made 20 years ago but will do for now.
