The sensors are kind of thick. Not an issue for the one I installed as a speed sensor but I had trouble finding a spot on the crank arm where the cadence sensor didn’t contact the bike frame. It could just be that the clearance on my bike (canyon grail) is especially close but something to watch out for. Eventually i replaced the rubber cushion with a bit of gorilla tape and that solved the problem. Otherwise the sensors function as expected and are good value for money

Easy to attach and worth it's price. It's not very thick but enough to not be able to use the included rubber mat which comes in two sizes. Modern bikes have very little space between the crank arm and the frame. I ride without the rubber mat and it seems to fit very well when I tested it indoors on the trainer.

Si istalla e si attiva facilmente. Accoppiato con il mio Polar V650, è perfettamente compatibile. Tant'è che ne ho presi altri due da montare sulla bici che ho sui rulli. Soddisfattissimo.

I'm a beginner in cycling and just wanted something to help track my workouts better. I've taken these out on 4 occasions thus far and they're great. They were easy to install on the bike itself with the accessories included and it connected on my S22 Ultra via Bluetooth without issue. When I go out for a ride they re-connect effortlessly. I'm using the Wahoo Fitness App to track speed & cadence, which then connects to Strava where I track my routes.

In 2021, I bought Moofit's cadence, speed and HR sensors as they were about half the price of the Garmin versions. I wrote a review and gave the HR monitor and speed sensor 5 stars, but only 3 to the cadence due to it showing false spikes too often. Then after about a year, I found that the speed sensor was significantly inaccurate (3.5%), requiring me to manually fudge the wheel circumference value in my Garmin 520 in order to have it record the correct distance (and thereby average speed). Now, it's been fine since I did this 4 years ago, but I shouldn't have had to tweak it in the first place. As a result, I dropped the review to 2 stars and swore "never again" -- if I bought a new bike, I'd suck it up and drop $40 on the overpriced, never discounted Garmin sensor. In Jul '24, I bought a new bike and was almost ready to bite on the Garmin version when I saw this "improved" Moofit speed (or cadence, good idea!) sensor. When I read about the changes, it was as if they saw my review (rated the "most helpful" by readers, BTW), even making the battery door more user friendly. Best part? Still less than half the price of the Garmin at $17! So, I took a chance and ordered one.To my delight, the new design works perfectly now! Once the 520 did its auto wheel size calc with the Moofit, the distance was nearly dead on. 4 rides ranging from 20 to 35 miles were off by a mere 0.02 to 0.05 miles, BETTER than a friend's Garmin sensor I tested 4 years ago. It's also thinner than the previous, which means I'll be buying another (for cadence) due to the tight crank arm-to-frame clearance on the new bike. Bravo to Moofit for reading reviews and re-engineering the product for the better, all while keeping a very fair price!

I found the sensors easy to install and set up to my new computer. The speed sensor seems to work well and the cadence sensor was working fine, though the data seems to lag transmitting to the computer. Perhaps that is normal. My biggest trouble with the cadence sensor is that the band holding it to the crank seems to have snapped, causing me to lose the sensor unknowingly on the second day of a five-day trip. That was disappointing. So, I bought two sensors, paid for two sensors, and have only one.

First, could not get the blue/red lights to flash until I removed what I assume is a waterproofing rubber band from the battery door. (And I had removed the plastic sheet from the contacts that protects the battery during shipping.) Tried a different battery just in case and it was not the battery, it is the design. Once I got the blue (cadence) light on, I could not connect to my iPhone. Followed the instructions exactly as given but nothing worked. This will be returned if I remember to send it back. Otherwise, it will just be a (costly) lesson learned. Will probably go with the more well-known name brand now.

I only use the product as a cadence sensor so can't comment on it's use as a speed sensor. As a cadence sensor it hasn't let me down, with a reliable and steady connection to my bike computer/indoor training app.I have the previous version on my outdoor bike and on the strength of its performance I bought one for my indoor trainer (inbuilt cadence reading was rubbish). I was initially a little dubious about the 'rubber band' attachment but it's proved to be rock solid and it's a standard attachment method for all things bike related now from bike lights to bike computers. I guess if you were still concerned you could also tape it on!My wife also has them on her bikes too and so I obviously wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.While I'm happy to support main brand products to pay for the invested R&D, the cost difference between this device and the ubiquitous Garmin sensor is just too much.If you're considering a cadence sensor, don't hesitate and just buy this one - you won't be disappointed.
