Good quality pad for shoulder rigs. The cushioning feels a bit on the thin side, but when you’re using it it’s very comfortable.

I recently purchased a very large Sony Cinema camera, it was used and did not come with the factory shoulder mount, this product worked great allowing me to get stable shots while shoulder mounted.

It pretty much does everything it says it does. It feels well built and durable. I can't imagine it breaking in any significant way any time soon.I use it for my production company. It's not fancy or "sexy" but it works. If you need it you need it.Cushion is comfortable.

actually, I like it a lot. It is super comfy and holds extra screws on the back of the mount. I place it backwards on the rails, and let the pad have more surface area to meet the front of my shoulder. This inward pressure allows for more stability when I bring my elbows in. it rules. I dig Smallrig.

Ugh, the pad on this is just awful. But the rest of the design (downward sloping cheese plate surfaces both front and back) is just too good to ignore, and really makes for an ergonomic rig if you do it right. I just really, really wish the pad were better, a multi-segmented gel pad like the one on Smallrig's shoulder mount. To be honest, the hole pattern was also not that great, and I ended up using bolts with NUTS on them to get a QR base mounted where I really wanted it, because the holes that were exactly where I needed them were NOT THREADED. Oh well.

So far its really nice for the price. Ha, nice. My friend had one on his Eva 1 and worked great. Im using for my black magic pocket 4k. Happy with the steel and the simple comfort.
