Update: the company reached out and fully refunded the product and sent a new cat feeder. The new cat feeder works great so far. Apparently the old one was defective. Given the excellent customer service and new functioning feeder, I’m giving this product 5 stars.Original post:This feeder was great at first. Very convenient and I liked how I could manage the feeds from my phone. After about 1-2 months, I noticed that it was no longer dispensing the correct portion. Whenever it would dispense food, it would just keep dispensing until it couldn’t dispense anymore, thus over feeding my cats. I tried to return to the product for another one but of course it was past the date that I could return. What a waste of money.

I’ve owned this automatic cat feeder for a few months. It hadn't failed to feed my cats once. Even after power/wifi outages, this feeder will continue the feeding schedule.With 2 cats, the kibble storage can last around 2 weeks before needing a refill.The metal bowls are removable, making them easy to clean.Small downside is the legs of the feeder are loose come and come apart like legos when I lift up the entire feeder.Overall, solid product, worth it for the efficiency and ease of use

I previously had 2 single automatic feeder from MyPin. They were both working fine, but one of my cat is obsessed by food and she found out that if you shake the machine a little bit, some kibbles will eventually fall down. So as she liked to do it at night (it's noisy), we needed to hide both the feeders in another room during the night which was a bit annoying and defeat the puropose of having automatic feeders.So when we decided to get another one , I made some research around Amazon and this one seemed to be the one. Firstly, when the feeder doesn't deliver food, the kibble compartment is LOCKED. That means, cats can't tricked the machine. I heard my beloved cat trying to shake the machine at night but this is way more stable than the previous one, and since the kibble container is locked, she gave up. So my first problem is resolved.Second, I wanted to change the bowl from plastic to stainless steel so it's better for cats overall.Its easy to setup and install, the app works great (you don't have to pay anything to setup the meal). Also the tank can hold up quite some food, it can last a few weeks depending on how many meals you give per day.Very satisfied with my purchase ! I recommend :)

This is a great auto-feeder. I lost power at one point and it still feeds my cats, although maybe a few minutes earlier than they were used to. Not a big deal at all. I got this particular model, because the bowls are spaced apart and my cats don’t fight over the food. It was pretty easy to put together and the app is easy to use. I WISH the app let you choose different increments for each bowl/cat, but it only feeds equal amounts for each feeding. It’s really convenient that the app lets you turn off specific days or times, so if you want to manual manage feeding times, there you go.The food holding bin is sturdy enough that my cats don’t knock it over, and it locks so they can’t get into it!I’d say if you’re on the fence about this feeder, and you’re reading this review, BUY IT. I was the same way, since I didn’t want to choose the “wrong” one, but I’m so happy with my purchase!

Big picture: It's a good product, I'd buy it again. Granted, we're only a few weeks into use, but I haven't found a negative yet with the hardware. The app it is so-so, but I don't think it's their app so no foul. For context, we have two young cats and use Wholehearted for their dry food. The food is small diameter so no issues with dispensing that larger nuggets in some brands.The good: Nice form/function. The bowls are removable/washable. It has a desiccant in the lid (replaceable packet) to keep the food fresh (which is nice). It allows you to record a voice message as it dispenses (e.g. here, kitty kitty!) to interest the cat--not really needed as at the 'tink tink tink' of the food hitting bowl is a solid dinner bell that has them running. Controls are straightforward, but I use the app. The app allows for all the timed dispensing programing, by day, hour, and portion. It's good enough for the job. Construction is lightweight, so it won't withstand a cat at full "hungry" speed barreling into it iif you've got that kind of cat.The bad: I do wish the bowls stuck out just a little more so they had more head clearance, but it hasn't stopped them at all. The lid is clipped in, but it's not sealed with a gasket in any way--refer back to that handy desiccant pack--so it's still exposed to air. I only fill it halfway to keep the food fresher. That's really it.

I purchased this double cat food dispenser for my two cats for two reasons. I wanted some kind of portion control, as I tend to walk past their food bowl and fill it if it's empty. You can control the portions and how often they are fed. The portions this puts out is VERY small, however, you can choose up to ten portions of food every time it feeds. You can also select how often it puts out food. I selected 2 portions of food 3 times per day for each cat. They are fed 2 portions first thing in the morning, 1 portion at lunch time, and then 2 portions in the evening. It's still a work in progress, and the food dishes are rarely empty.The second reason I purchased this feeder is because we like to go away for the weekend. I thought it would be nice to not have to ask someone to come and feed my cats twice a day while we are gone. It really does a great job of sticking to the schedule and dispensing food when I'd like. It also has a neat feature in the app that I can go in and dispense food at random. Because it's set up to dispense food throughout the day, I don't use this function while we aren't home.I will say that my cats were very skeptical of it at first. They still get a little scared when it makes a warning noise (kinda like it's "warming up" before it dispenses the food). They tend to take several steps back or run away when they hear that noise. It's not loud at all. They eat out of it just fine though.Overall, it was really easy to put together, set up through the Smart Life App was fairly quick and easy, and it works as it should. I'm very satisfied with this feeder. We have had it for a couple weeks now.

Its easy to install. Packing is nice with complete instructions. I used it for almost a week now and it did not clogged. My cats loved it.

This is almost exactly what we were looking for. We love how the bowls are on opposite sides, though as other reviews have said, it would be nice for there to be more clearance above the bowl. It was very easy to set up the product and connect it to the app. So far, I haven't had any issues with the app, and it's timing for the meals have been spot on.One of the cats is very skittish but she got used to dispenser quickly. It only took her a few feedings to start running at the sound! The other had no issue at all.My only real complaint is that there is no way to disassemble the unit in order to wash the food storage base at the top. I saw some other brands' units had that feature, but I chose this for its price, overall design, and app functionality.Please note that in the app, it says you need a paid monthly subscription to receive text or phone notifications if the food is low and such. I'm not sure if this is true, as before we filled it, I got a phone notification that it was low, so hopefully that continues to notify me moving forward. This isn't a deal breaker for us regardless, but could be important to some!We've only used it a few days so far so I will update if there are any issues moving forward. For now, we've very happy with it!
