Works great. Had to buy a 1' X 36" ridged metal conduit handle for it but it save a lot of time when salvaging hardwood pallets.

Like the other reviews I’ve read mine bent on first pallet I broke the wooden handle I put in it and wound up using an old t post for a handle. That works great. I will have to weld some support to the forks to keep them from bending more. Better steel or support is needed. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to return it because the weather Hete kept me from using it until the 30 days passed. Not the sellers fault there. It is a good design just not strong enough. Good price though.

The design is fine. the claws need to be reinforced. Use of metal handles (like pipe) will be helpful. Wooden handles break easily. The diameter of the handle receptacle should match a standard pipe diameter so that the handle fits either in or over the receptacle.

I bought this product and bought a black gas pipe to use for the handle. It works well. I first tried a wooden handle and it broke in about two seconds. You will definitely need a good handle that won’t break or bend under the pressure. I do wish the screw that holds the handle in place went all the way through the other side for stability, but all in all it works .

I was so happy to use this Pallet Buster, Everything was going well, Until the 6th pallet. The two teeth bars were starting to bend .You used cold rolled steel, thats a NO,NO. What did you think was going to happen, YOU knew better, and still made the Cheap Buster. Back to the drawing board for you. 5 tons of pressure for the welds to hold. Who are you trying to kidd. Not a good time saver, if it cannot function right. Not a happy camper. Mike Wallace of Turlock Ca GOOD Product , Bad decision to use the wrong steel.

Product easily pops apart wooden planks from skids with proper handle. Bought a 6’ long, one inch diameter pipe and attached it for extra leverage and well worth it. Product definitely speeds up disassembly by far. Recommend if you are a serious pallet wood user.

This tool is easy to use I was on my 6th pallet when one of the welds broke and now I can’t use it. It is not very durable nor sturdy. If I were you I would save my money or buy a different type and try it out. For the record I was ripping apart standard pallet’s when it broke.

My wife and I are over 60 years old and considering that the winter is not far away, we planned to have an easy and quick reclaim of some wooden pallets so that we could DIY some racking or other furniture in backyard garden. We tried both hammers and crow bars but failed as they really caused damage with low efficiency. Recommended by a friend of mine, I purchased this pallet buster tool. The tool come with perfect package and fast delivery and the size and the length of the forks are fine. Well, though this tool is heavier than expected, it really salvages most of our wood and saves our back. I found the tip is to put the forks under the pallet below the nails, your chances of not damaging wood are better. But it should be noted that the tool does not come with a handle which actually is available at most local shops. Generally speaking, it is nicely constructed well welded good product and we will may update later after a long-time use.

The item comes in a perfect package and works as described. It is a nicely constructed and well welded good product, quite a tool of high-quality metal. You just need to insert a handle with the appropriate diameter and fasten it with the screw before beginning to tear down pallets, break down deck boards or reclaim anything else wooden if applicable. The truth is that it needs really less time and less effort to reclaim wooden items without little or even no damage. Well, the yellow finish is perfect, too.I would recommend this great product to anyone who is considering save both your back and your money.
