Why did you pick this product vs others?:Past experience with Panasonic cordless phone products.Sound quality:Sound quality ok...volume too low.Ease of setup:EasyButtons size:GoodPhone quality:Not happy. Volume too low for a shop environment. Maybe ok in a quiet home. Cell link audio sounds good on the other end of the landline but pops/clicks on this units side. Value for money:I would not purchase again at this price.Cordless phone:It is cordless

This was my cheap solution to a home phone. I got a flip phone from ATT on the cheapest plan and canceled by landline. Now my kid has 911 access. Great concept.

DO NOT BUYworst phones ever. We bought those as replacement for our parents phone and the sound is horrible, static +++ and sound is cutting every 2-3 words

Unfortunately, this cordless phone is USA compatible and not UAE compatible. Hence this did not serve the purpose and suggest anyone planning to use it in countries with 220V/50HZ, do not purchase. I wish it was clearly labelled as such in description but hopefully this helps other buyers when they consider this purchase.

I've really enjoyed using this phone as I was forced by my former carrier to drop my landline service. I just have no interest in carrying my phone around the house, and this provides easy extensions in both bedrooms and the kitchen. I did run into the complaint that seems common in the reviews and that is the weird Bluetooth distance issue. The cell phone needs to be a few feet away from the main base and it would be more convenient to have the cell right next to the base. If the cell is more than 15 feet away from the base, you do get static and issues with number button presses not being transmitted, although that's more of a general issue with Bluetooth technology. I have had zero issues with extensions being too far from the base, however, within reason.I was easily able to set up my existing Android phone with this device. I was also able to set up text message alerts, although setting up the extensions was a bit complex. Copying the Phonebook from my Android phone did not work; I had to retype the entries on the phone, although those entries did automatically copy over to the other extensions. Plus, after a great deal of effort, I was able to port my old landline number to a flip phone running KaiOS, and it also paired with the Panasonic! An unexpected bonus, indeed. For those looking to port a landline number to a cell carrier, give the process about one month, and assume daily calls to both parties (plus, the Real Caller ID system set up on cell carriers will reduce junk calls to the old number). The speaking Caller ID is a huge positive for me at least, though I couldn't get the different ring tone feature to work the way I wanted it. The first ring is the default tone, then the Caller ID announces the name (if it's in the phone book) or the number, and then the appropriate ring tone programmed into the phone then sounds. There are a few suggestions for future models: (1) while the call blocking & answering machine features are very good, I just don't use them. I think that most people use these services on their cell phones because you can use those services away from home. There should be a cellular-only model without these features, because having them makes the phone more complex to set up. Plus, landlines are becoming unavailable in populated areas, including having the service forcibly removed from people's homes; there won't be a need much longer for these features. A third cell line addition would also be nice, if possible. (2) The Android app & the ability to get an alarm on an incoming text message was a requirement, but there are a couple of suggestions. First, have an option to repeat an alert after a couple of minutes automatically until cancelled on an extension. Second, it would be the best phone on the market if a user could view at least a portion of the text and reply to a message from an extension, at least an acknowledgement or a choice of canned replies. Actually being able to type a text back using old-school 12-button typing would be wonderful. (3) A less important suggestion: please propagate dial out histories to the other extensions, but include a menu choice to delete all of them & automatically propagate deletions to the other extensions. But in summary, this phone is a market-changer, traditional DECT cordless phones that connect to cell phones using Bluetooth is going to make the forced transition away from twisted-pair copper service so much easier.

I bought this for home use and fixed these 3 instruments in different rooms. While the main unit charges properly, 2 additional charging stations do not charge. Every day, I have to shuffle the cordless phones between the rooms to keep them charged.I left one of the units on the charging station and did not shuffle it. As a result, the power drained completely from the unit. With great difficulty, I managed to find Rechargeable batteries and replaced the previous batteries with new ones. Even then this unit do not charge.Very unsatisfactory performance

I had a Panasonic phone before, so I found the setup simple (though I did have to retype the phonebook entries).Set up the base station first and then register the other handsets. Some of the base settings automatically transfer. The connection with my cell phone works well.Note - it comes in a big box that looks empty because things are hidden under a cardboard piece at the bottom. I thought the phones had been stolen out of the box at first. :)

This product has too many features for the number of available buttons. If you have trouble understanding and using geeky electronic devices this may not be the product for you. If they had a smart phone app to set it up it would have been much better. If you do buy it, you really need to download the user manual from the Panasonic website. The ringer was not working on one of the hand sets and I spent several frustrating hours before I found out why: If you hold the zero button down for ten seconds it toggles the silent ringer feature. It must have been pressed by accident at some point.Otherwise, this phone solved the problem we were having. My wife’s cell phone only gets reception in one room of our house. Her phone would ring but she would not be able to get to it before the caller gave up. Three handsets are spread around the house and the problem is solved. It was nice to be able to pair a second (my) cell phone. You can connect to a landline as well. If you don’t intend to use this with a cell phone this is the wrong choice.I strongly urge you to get the version with three handsets, not two. You’ll be glad you did once you’ve used it for a short time.

This is our 3rd go around with Panasonic landline, 3 wireless phones. Have used this brand for over 35 years that lasted approx. 12 -15 years each time - and still worked - but bought new ones because we wore out the numbers, as does happen with any push button electronic - sometimes you have to push harder.I love this one because I have aged and the buttons are larger and easy to push. It is actually entertaining to set the caller ID to be announced as the voice tries to say the acronym for a company. Had a call from "FFFF". Can you imagine how funny it is to hear, "Call from FFFF (sound that out). I would yell, "Don't answer and listen."You won't be disappointed.

I've been wanting these for years and finally got them. Just the best dang home set up as I've seen it used. They connect everytime when you arrive in yard and have had absolutely no issues with connection. The fact that they allow you to answer cell that is located at charging area and alert you to incoming text messages along with person sendings name is very nice. They allow up to 3,000 blocked numbers which niw a days is needed and over 1,000 saved numbers. You can also take each individual hand set and program each one with different speed dials numbers is also a plus. I wish there were a few more options on front of them like transfer but we'll get used to it soon. Great units Panasonic
