A little more expensive, but the only hearing protection of this type I've found that works. The ear buds can flex on the mounting band, allowing the bud to comfortably & effectively seal to the ear.

These are just okay for me, still a good product and does what it is supposed to do.

I discovered these plugs by accident for motorcycle riding and loved them ever since. The hard plastic center makes it easy to push it into your ears and, once there, the world “disappears”. They work amazingly and they are washable.

The band is hard plastic. When worn around the back of the neck - which makes the most sense for hanging it on your neck when not in use and to keep it out of your way when you are using it - the hard plastic band rubs on your neck or upper back and transmits sound into your ears. Also, I am sure the shape of the band is meant to keep pressure on the plugs so they stay in the ear but the pressure is uncomfortable. I haven't used them on the range or in the field yet, but if I could have tried them before I bought them I wouldn't have bought them.

Es un buen protector auditivo, pero hay que introducirlo con fuerza para obtener su maxima eficiencia, y eso resulta un poco molesto al usarlo continuamente por horas. Pero es un protector eficiente.

I find these earplugs to be comfortable and very affordable. I wear them around my neck all day long and then they are available when I need them. When they are in the ears the only comfortable way to wear them is with the plastic band below the chin. They are not good for shooting long guns because of the way the stick out and rub against your gun, but for work they are great. I bought 10 of them and keep them in my shop, in my trucks, in my toolbox. The only real downside for me personally is that they get nasty dirty after a little use so you have to replace the pods often. I would like rubber pads that you can clean off and reuse more easily.

These are OK, I guess. The sound protection is fine, but the ear pieces are that squishy foam and are hard to get into my ears. Once in, they are comfortable, but if I'm going to deal with the inconvenience of carefully putting them in my ear holes, then I'd just use regular foam ear plugs.I really miss the old, smooth rubber style made by E.A.R. back in the day. Those popped in and out effortlessly.

Delivered on time. Haven't really used these yet. Put in place. Seem to fit well; reduces everyday sounds but haven't used for shooting yet.

They fit great and were comfortable (I wore the band under the chin, because I was wearing a hat). Everything was good when I was the only one on the range. It was even fine when a guy came in two lanes down. I was learning a new gun with a much longer and heavier trigger pull than I'm used to, so I'd planned to be there a long time. By the time 4 or 5 other shooters came into the range, it was uncomfortably loud. When my ears insisted that everyone on the range was firing cannons, I had to leave (fyi: The rifle range is segregated on the opposite side of the building and to my knowledge, there aren't any canon ranges in, well... not anywhere, so it was just handguns on a half-full range). When I got to my car, the ringing in my ears informed me that I had put off leaving too long. The plugs were still firmly seated when I went to remove them, so I don't understand how my old, uncomfortable muffs with a smidgen lower NRR did a better job (and I'm kicking myself for taking them out of my bag to make room for extra ammo). Nine hours later, the ringing is almost gone, but the experience will never be forgotten. I'm not going to toss these in the trash, but they'll never go back in my range bag again.
