This product has been working on my boat for over a year and has been working quite well and I am very satisfied with it. I also purchased a coil from this vendor at the same time and it failed within a month the replacement part was never sent and had to purchase another. I will recommend this product but be careful when needing to return a defective product to this vendor.

Excellent product, only change I would make is the cap. I’d go with male instead of female.

I dislike that there is not a gasket for seating of cap to prevent moisture from getting in!

I first tried the Pertronix flame thrower coil and distributor electronic conversion, which was somewhat of an improvement, but still had some issues with advance. I purchased one of these to try on one engine and it immediately ran much better, changed to lighter springs and really made the difference. I had been putting off changing my ancient mallory distributors, should have done it along time ago. Ordered the 2nd distributor today. Highly recommend.

Plug and play perfect, except the RED Cap is a dull brown. This "RED CAP" dizzy is now sitting on a red Volvo AQ211A GM 305 it was purchased above other dizzies to match the colors, both my client and I thought the matching colors would look kinda cool. Unfortunately the dull brown, Mr. Hankey CAP looks just ok maybe alright but not cool and it does spark when it's supposed too. But I just can't help being bummed out when the description said "RED CAP" you would think it would be a RED CAP not a rust, poo, chestnut, coppery henna, tawny, titian, brownish cap.
