The glass waterers are beautiful! They are easy to fill and place in the soil. I just received them so I don't know how they will hold up long term.

This is very helpful while on vacation your plants will still be alive since the globes only releases the water as needed it

The bulbs that were intact look beautiful and hold a good amount of water to not totally drown a plant. Unfortunately the yellow one had an invisible crack. It can kind of hold water, but I don't imagine it will last very long. Because of the small size, I could see these needing to be refilled often, however it provides more consistent water to some of my needier plants.

Very pretty colors. Some bottles arrived with cracked tube's allowing water to run through faster. Many of the bottles don't hold water pass 5 mins which makes me feel i have to keep my watering routine. Tube's are thin, not thick at all. Pretty but not functional defeats the purpose.

These are okay. They help water you plants when you forget too. The problem is that not all of them will actually work. Comes in a group of 6 but only 4 will hold or distribute water. The neck is too small.

The package arrived in a box that was not fully sealed. When picking it up, I immediately heard the tinkling of glass. After slowly opening the package, it was obvious that the yellow one had shattered at some point in the delivery process. On another note, the glass orbs have a faint vinegar smell. The โstained glass lookโ makes me think of a child randomly dabbing it with a Sharpie or other permanent marker. The odour and texture makes me think of stale salt and vinegar chips. Slightly greasy, slightly stinky, and slightly guaranteed to give you gastrointestinal issues in the middle of the night.I bought these to hopefully help combat fungus gnats on my plants. Perhaps the smell and tackiness will drive them away.Three out of five stars.

Got these in good time, and they arrived fully intact and properly packed. Theyโre beautiful. Theyโre definitely glass and NOT cheapo plastic, and I love them - as do the plants Iโve paired them with! The holes are all a good size - none are โtoo smallโ. Saw a few reviews mentioning dirt getting into the stem and bulb, so have used cheesecloth as a filter on all but 1 (and the 1 w/out cheesecloth is fine). In short, I like these so much that Iโm about to get another set.

The first box of these arrived broken from what I can tell. But I think it was super awesome that the person dropping the package off didn't even drop it off. They took it back because they could hear they were broken. A new package was shipped out the next day. One of the new ones was broken as well. Since I only needed four, I didn't really mind. I would consider reexamining the package design to see if breakage could be reduced. These are very cute and small. A little larger than a golf ball sized globe. I think my plants are a little healthier not feeling so neglected. I do feel like I have to be pretty careful withthese because they are small. I have owned bigger ones before and they were more sturdy. When you shrink them in scale, you end up with thinner glass. I like how they are not huge though and don't deatract the eye by being too large. I would not consider these adequate for going out of town. You would need to get a larger bottle If you were gone for more than a week.

After using 4 different types of self watering systems I dicided that the globes do as good a job if you followingcertain conditions. It all depends how much oxygen gets to the tip of the globes to deliver enough water.1: if your soil is dry, the globe will empty almost immediately.2:. If you insert the globe close or near the drainage holes of you pot, the oxygen will be released to your globe, and the globe will release the water, even if your soil is soaked.3: Using smaller shorter globes will help since they cannot go all the way tobottom near the drainage hole.4: unless you know your plants need for water relatively well, you should notUse this system without trying it out first.5: it is my impression that these globes will do the job as a watering system when you are away any given time.6: the most reasonable usage would be when you are unable to water your plants for more than the length of timeyou usually water your plants - when watering once a week,You are gone, the globe will help.7: example: before going away, water you soil till it is saturated, then insert the full globe. When the plant needs water, the globe will deliver the water according to the need of the plant. At least this is what I found out using different systems to see how they perform. It seems better for your plants toContinue your normal watering schedule and use this one as a back up. If you want to use it instead of normal routineYou may want to make sure what your plants needs are.I have a lot of plants and this system will help very much when I go anyway for any length of time.It is not fool prove, but better than letting you plants go dry and difficult .The reason I gave it 4 stars, is that the openings in some of these globes are very narrow and very very difficult to fill with water. Usually, when I had gotten a 6 pack, there are one or two which have these very narrow openings. And it takes up to a half hour to fill. I have tried to emmerse them in a tub of water , but it still did not help. When trying to fill them from the faucet, it takes even longer. I will get a 10cc syringe to see if injecting the water into the globes might be less time consuming. However, I still like these little globes and they will the job well.
