This is a fantastic item well made with quality materials. The dolly motion is buttery smooth and quiet..The carriage has a safety mechanism to keep the dolly for accidentally getting knocked off. The carriage supports over and under which is very cool. 75mm and 100mm built in bowl adapters for leveling bases. The dolly is designed for over/under.There is no track included. Only the ends. If you get track with C Stands it could be a quick setup. All of the parts are protected by an amazing travel case. This is professional quality equipment albeit at a pretty small scale. And it’s not as heavy as my other dollys. Much lighter in fact, though the rugged case adds weight. It’s not cheap. It appears there are comparable products for half of what this costs. I haven’t evaluated them however. A common complaint is the quality of some of the items we get. So, the quality is there but you have to pay for it. Is there good value here? That’s a personal choice based on need, resources, and demand for quality. From the best I can tell, yes. Pro level gear isn’t cheap. It’s the difference between a $5000 camera and a $50,000 camera, when I saw the cost of my first professional video tripod I almost had a stroke. And I thought I knew what expensive tripods were in the $500 range but not 10,000. So yea, this isn’t expensive.

This dolly has impressive build quality with its substantially thick and sturdy design. The published weight is 25 pounds, but it feels like even more than this. It comes with a flight case which is great for local shoots and travel. The main plate can adapt to many heads and it has multiple screw locations to mount other plates or accessories. I love how it can be utilized in top-mount or under-slung modes. The wheels are silky smooth, and the weight of the unit with the rig allows for very controlled and smooth movements. This seems like an expensive item at first, but for this level of quality in a dolly, it ends up being an excellent value that enables professional engaging cinematography.

This camera dolly certainly feels like a high quality and well-built piece of professional camera gear. I've never had one before so I can't compare it to others but for the price it feels like a lot of value. All components are well machined and the sliding motion couldn't be smoother. I love that it can be used either on top of a track or under-slung, giving an extra low perspective for shots that require it. This can be especially effective for product photography where the item being shot is only a foot or two high. This way the track can sit on the same surface as the item being shot. I really appreciate that everything but the track is included and that it comes in such a sturdy protective transport case. I feel like it's a solid value for the price and that it should last for many years.
