The product insinuates that this would be a good product for mushroom hunting but unfortunately it is not.In theory a mesh bag would be exactly what you want, however, the material is rough and as a result, will grate apart the mushrooms you have foraged. I gave the product 2 stars because it is indeed a functional mesh bag and if you have items that are not as fragile as a mushroom it may be sufficient.

I HAVE NOT USED THIS BAG AS OF YET, BUT IT SEEMS OF GOOD QUALITY, I'm WAITING TO SEE IF ONE HAD A GOOD NUMBER OF MUSHROOMS IF THE BOTTOM ONES WILL CRUSH, IT WOULD BE NICE IF IT HAD A ZIP OUT BOTTOM TO UNLOAD THE SACK.
