FedEx lost the original shipment. Seller very quickly sent a replacement after I reported that it had not arrived. Replacement arrived in two days in a sturdy box. Construction is significantly more solid than I expected. Legs appear to be new wood; only the top appears to be recycled wood. This should not fall apart like the old home-built model.

I ordered a barrel and two stands ( I already had one of Mirainbarrel's barrels ). The stands got lost in the shipping network but no problem, one message to the vendor and two new stands were promptly dispatched. They arrived within two days and are now doing their job. They're simple, functional and the vendor is likely making a very nice margin on them but I don't have the time to make them myself, so all good. Great service experience!

I've seen reviews that weren't pleased with the wood used, saying it wasn't reclaimed or they could've made it themselves for cheaper. I'm less concerned in if the wood was reclaimed or not and more concerned with the sturdiness of the stands and if they're made well. I'm VERY happy with what I got. I'm confident that the stands will be able to withstand the weight of the barrels when they're full of water. As far as being able to make it cheaper myself, possibly...but I'm happy to pay for someone's time when I don't have the tools let alone skill to easily do it myself. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase!

This seems sturdy but the wood is coated on some parts and raw on others. The top pieces are very rough and I would have to sand them to stain/seal it. I tried to stain as is but the rough pieces needed to be sanded and other parts seem to have some kind of finish or coating that wont take the stain. Not sure how this will work out. As long as it holds a 50 gallon water barrel I guess it can work.

This stand is very sturdy and my rain barrel fits on it perfectly. The height is great for being able to fill a watering can from the rain barrel or attach a hose. It looks nice as well. I am very happy with it.
