I wanted something to take the shine off of items I wanted to paint. This worked great. The key to getting a sheer look, is to do two light coats and NOT one heavy one.

I love this stuff. I actually have used it over photos incorporated in art. I apply gel over photo and then I dab it with a fine sponge. Then it gives the photo an undetectable grit so translucent paint can adhere. Many other uses. A must in your art studio. WOW this sounds like I actually know what I’m doing - I don’t.

I love this texture paste. It's my favorite brand. Received it on time, goes on smooth, and the consistency was good as well.

I will not dock any points for the quality of the product. It just happened to not be a great choice for what my intended purpose was, as I was planning to use it to brush on as a canvas-like texture over a printed poster. It was not transparent enough for said purpose and it made the image very hazy. I'm sure the thickness of the product that I applied, had something to do with it, as well. I will just use what's left as mixing medium and/or a base for future art projects. There's nothing wrong with it at all! I possibly could've even tried thinning it out. Just a heads up for anyone who had similar ideas!

I love this texture paste. I use this in my acrylic artwork and I am thrilled with the results. Easy to paint over or mix in with paints. Get this one for sure.

This stuff is fantastic and should be in every hobbiests’ toolbox. It works amazing when giving ground some variation, attaching rock and flock terrain, and it even works awesome as miniature gap filler as an easier alternative to Green Stuff. Amazing results!
