I had been trying to locate a cap for our built-in Vac system for a while, checking local hardware stores & super stores, but to no avail, until I looked online. The standard PVC piping & caps are larger than the central vac piping. A bit expensive for just a simple 2inch cap, but it fits!Capt. Jim

Bought for our new central vac b/c I didn’t think it came with one. Installed and found the one that came with it which look just like this one so now we have an extra if needed.

I asked a question on a review about this item, to make sure it would onto my 70’s built in vacuum system and was told it would and it did! I was able to use my “new” vacuum for the first time since we’ve been in our house. 4 yrs later
