Year 4 and still only one issue...These draw less power so my cars high beam indicator doesn't know they are on high beam. They are plenty bright 😎

A few things to note about these bulbs for older car users:1- for older car owners thinking to switch from halogen to LED... don't do it unless you have switched your glass lenses of your headlights or they are compatible for projecter headlights. The lenses are designed to spread the light from a bulb rather then an LED... an LED through a bulb based lens will scatter light all over the place and blind other drivers.... it is also technically illegal unless you switch to an LED specific lens as well. Some newer lenses and LEDs are compatible but older cars especially have lenses that cannot focus LEDs properly2 - If you are a Canadian driver or live where daytime running lights are mandatory, these do not operate unless on full light mode or bright mode. Apparently the power supply to power a regular halogen bulb for the low driving light setting is too low to even light the LEDs so no running lights.3 - The interference from these LEDs will mess with your radio reception unless you purchase a noise suppressor filterFor newer car owners the bulbs work, are bright with a bluish tint... cannot speak to the lifespan

I like the brightness! I like the fact they are non polarized meaning, 12v to common and 12v to high or low, and it lights up like a regular H4I haven’t tried on a magneto yet, but they should light on a snowmobile, bike or anything 12v AC.I have found that I needed a 12v small incandescent bulb connected to HB and common for the lights to switch down to low beam. No big deal, just a heads up for those that may think they faulty if HB indicator is LED. I hid mine under the hood.Hope they last, I have zero time on them

These things are bright! On par with the best oem and then some. Going from stock bulbs in aftermarket housings and still a huge improvement.Saves me and my truck several times in just a few weeks. Deer are easy to spot with these, giving more time to avoid hitting them.

Only in for a day but great so far. Installed in 2015 Tacoma.Installation: Rubber sealing boots on headlight assembly were a tight fit, (trouble fitting around the cooling vents which obviously the stock halogen bulbs do not have, so had to cut a bit but not an issue (reasealed with tape). Will have to pull your battery and move the washer reservoir out of the way, but other than that simple 30 minute install. Connections were simple, these are "plug and play" except for having to mod the rubber on the housing. Also includes small zip ties to hang the small LED control box between the bulb and the plug, but used my own larger ties.Lights: Much brighter than the stock bulbs, but not overly bright as to blind oncoming traffic (still using the OEM reflector/projector combo housing). Good beam pattern without blind spots. Pure white light is so much nicer than the "yellowish" halogen.Value: Didn't want to spend $150 on the "high end" LED bulbs and think for 1/3 the price these are a great bargain. Like them so much am going to replace my fog lights with Sealight bulbs also.Longevity: TBD, will update if any of the LEDs burn out.

Bought these for installation on a 2004 Toyota Tacoma - perfect fit, even though the Amazon bulb finder says "will not fit your 2004 Tacoma" .I had purchased and installed a set of LED H4/9003 bulbs from a very reputable company known for selling "Super Bright" bulbs . That was the only problem, they were too bright (other drivers were being blinded). So, before I got shot at, run off the road, or pulled over, I tried these Sealight LED's. The difference is much better - a focused pattern and no more blinding other drivers.Installation is a fairly simple process (on the 1st Gen Tacoma, at least) with plug & play. They come with load resisters already attached, so the high beam indicator works normally and there's no bulb flickering.I would definitely suggest these LED bulbs to anyone looking to make the switch from halogen bulbs.

Update to original review:My initial set of lights interfered with the radio, the operation of the fog lights, and the high beams just seemed to scatter the light without giving good visibility. Customer support offered me several solutions, end ended up sending me replacement bulbs with an improved design. These new ones are great. No interference with radio or fog light operation. And, the high beams really light up the road like they should. Great improvement. Sealight has the best customer support I have run into. Thanks ya’ll!-------------------------------------------------------Original review:The lights work well and have a beautiful clear daylight color. the "daylight" halogen lights do not compare to this. They have a little more light scatter (beam pattern is not as crisp), due to using LED instead of a filament. However, the light coverage is great and I have had no negative issues with it. It is a good design, and I like how the two part design was super easy to install.Negatives:- There is a significant amount of radio interference.- While my fog lights should only work with my low beams, for some reason when I turn on my fog lights, the high beams on the LEDs come on. - The light outlput seems similar to the halogens – there are brighter LEDs out there if that is what you are looking for. These are rated at 6000 lumens, which seems reasonable compared to other LEDs I have tried.Car: 1998 Acura RL.

(FOR OTHER BUYERS WHO NOTICED THE SEALIGHT S1 "HIGH BEAMS" aren't very bright, this is why)Last night my installer (a Toyota dealer technician) spent hours trying to install a SEALIGHT S1 H4/9003/HB2 LED headlight upgrade kit in a 2007 Toyota Prius (originally equipped with conventional incandescent headlight bulbs). Attached photos help illustrate these two problems (using the same terminology as in the installation instructions):1. The "shank" of the "lamp body" is too short. At first he thought it was not possible to compress the OEM rubber boot enough to get the tabs on the "lamp body" to engage the twist-lock slots on the "socket," but testing the fit on a bench showed that he if pushed straight down with all his body weight, the tabs on the "lamp body" would JUST BARELY engage the twist-lock slots. However, when installed in the vehicle, it is practically impossible to apply that much force. In a Prius, the installer must choose between rigging up some type of lever to pry forward with WAY too much force, or having to trim off the back of the OEM rubber boot.2. The bigger problem is: the HIGH beam LEDs do NOT turn on when installed in the vehicle when the headlight control switch is in the HIGH beam position. Instead, the HIGH beam LEDs only flicker for a split second and the LOW beam LEDs turn on, meaning that there is NO difference in illumination between the LOW beam and HIGH beam regardless of the headlight control switch setting. After discovering this problem, we expended more time bench-testing the SEALIGHT S1 H4/9003/HB2 LED Headlight Bulbs. Applying 12vDC to either the LOW beam terminal or the HIGH beam terminal caused the LOW beam LEDs or the HIGH beam LEDs (respectively) to turn on as expected. We then tested a conventional incandescent headlight bulb in the vehicle, and found that also worked as expected. We also tested the voltage on each terminal of the headlight power connector, and found that 12.x vDC is present on EITHER the LOW beam terminal OR the HIGH beam terminal, when the headlight control switch is set to LOW beam or HIGH beam (respectively). This problem is present on *BOTH* of the S1 LED headlights I got, which makes it pretty clear this is a design flaw, not a random defect, and it probably affects a LOT of other vehicles. This would explain why so many other reviewers comment that the SEALIGHT S1 high beams aren't very bright... because the high beams are NOT actually turning on.I ran other tests which lead me to believe that the source this design flaw is in the "driver," which causes 12vDC power from the HIGH beam electrical connection to be sent to the LOW beam LEDs. This explains why the SEALIGHT S1 works if 12vDC is applied in a bench test (when there is nothing connected to the unused terminal), but not when they are installed in a vehicle (when all three wires are connected all the time).Long story short: In a 2007 Toyota Prius that functions normally with OEM-style incandescent headlight bulbs, the SEALIGHT S1 H4/9003 LED upgrade kit DOES NOT function properly, resulting in LOW beam only, even if the operator turns on the high beams.
