Bought for my 92 year old mom and it is a big help. It is built well and is stable. The arms are good for support when she stands. She is very pleased and I am too.

Bought this for my seventy year old dad. He said it was sturdy and did the job. It was comfortable and fit nicely in his bathtub. Came in pieces but it didn’t take too long to put it together.

This is the best of the best product for you.. When you have someone who can't or is not strong enough to stand , then this shower chair you need.. easy instructions and easy to put together... Highly recommend...

We ordered a different bathtub seat and were horrified by the quality and incorrect instructions. This one is so easy and clear to assemble and is much better quality than what we saw in the other one. I’m super happy with my purchase!

I would like to give this chair a better rating, because it's very sturdy. I should have returned it, but waited too long. The chair is quite small, and looks like it's more for a child. Also, the legs are very straight up and down, so it seems like the chair could tip over easily. The legs needed to be more slanted to give a wider base. If you're a small person and the chair needs to fit into a confined space, then the chair is fine.

When I ordered this Bluelog Shower Chair it was not because I am elderly or disabled, I just wanted a shower chair to be able to sit down in the shower and wash my lower body and feet without risking slipping or falling over and for me this works for my intended use. The chair does require assembly, but it is pretty simple, and the directions are clear and easy to follow, and total assembly time was around10 minutes. The chair once assembled is very sturdy feeling and the rubber feet help hold it firmly in place in the shower without fear of it slipping around. The height is adjustable, but the max height leaves a lot to be desired. The sitting surface is big enough for me and the foam grips prevent my wet skin from sliding off the surface, but it is uncomfortable to sit on for longer than a few minutes. The back is removable, and you can choose to turn the chair sideways and use it that way. This is advertised to hold a max weight of up to 500lbs and I have no doubt that it can do that, it is that sturdy, but what I think it cannot accommodate is the girth that even half that weight would need to fit on the chair surface. I am 6'1 and 181 pounds and there is only 1/2 inch of surface clearance to either side of my hips as I sit in the chair and I really do think if you are around 250+ pounds and have a wider body type, this chair will not fit all of you on it without hanging over and being uncomfortable or awkward. The max adjustable height of the chair is up to 18 3/4 inches and me being 6'1 it feels like I am squatting rather than sitting, my knees while on the chair are much higher up than my waist so it feels like squatting to me, so I feel if you are taller than me then this will also be a potential issue. My wife who is 5'2 has no problems with the chair and when she sits on it, it looks normal. Overall, the chair is made from quality materials, easy to assemble, has a very sturdy feel to it, does not slip around in the shower and works for me, but I do think certain body types might have potential issues with it.
