Install was easy for the most part, had to cut down a rubber grommet in the harness connector for it to fit snugly, otherwise the rubber was too big and it couldn’t snap in. Works great and has been running smooth for a year thus far.

Item did not fit my 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 even though Amazon said it would. Also, the item in the picture is not exactly the same as the part i received (I should have looked closer before ordering)... In the picture, the plug portion is smooth without any visible notches, the part I received had a single notch on the top which would have been visible in the items picture, but isnt. The plug on my truck has 3 notches, I just looked at pictures and found the one that looked correct, ordered that, and it fit great. I am not sure what truck this sensor is for, but it was not mine.

I added an overhead console and already had the wiring to the nose. This plugged right into the stock harness and worked good from day 1

Perfect. This replaced a sensor on my 99 limited Cherokee. Mine was reading 10 degrees below all the time. This has solved that issue.

Worked perfectly on my 1997 jeep xj. Make sure to use a little bit of lubricant on the socket gasket, or else it's pretty aggravating to plug in.

Exactly the right piece, as advertised. This part was used in Rams and jeeps for many years (1987 - 2002). I bought a used 1996 Ram 1500 that came with this option but it wasn't working, now it is. Nice to get the exact piece you need in restoration projects.
