I have a smaller version of a similar tool I purchased from my local freight tool store but thought I would acquire this item for its additional reach and strength capacity. I am not sure if the magnet in the Pickup Tool can actually handle 50lbs as I have not tried to pick up anything this heavy with it, but I did pick up a 25lb item which it was able to do (under certain conditions) although it did appear to be at its pickup limit at this weight. One thing to know is that the magnet on the end of the tool has a diameter of about 1.3 inches and if the majority of that magnet is not flush in contact with the metal of the item you are picking up, you will not be able to lift the object. If the item, you want to pick up, has a raised edge or depression, or in other words is not flat at the contact point, then the magnet will slide off the item. Furthermore, the strength of the Pickup Tool in picking up heavier items lies in picking up these items along the tool's vertical axis. It would work great in picking up metal objects behind washers or dryers, or maybe something that fell into a sink drainpipe, or through a grating on the street. Don't get me wrong, it will pick up lighter things like screws, nails, screwdrivers, tape measures, small wrenches, etc. with ease. I do not think you will be able to pick up anything heavier than 5lbs at an angle without it slipping off. Again, something that heavy you would have to pick straight up, vertically along the vertical axis of the tool, which it can do easily. Fully extended the tool is about 3.5 feet so it has good length is being able to reach the ground quite easily if one is standing. The magnetic parts tray is useful too if you are someone who easily misplaces nuts, bolts, washers, screws, etc. The magnet at the bottom of the parts tray is in no way as strong as the magnet in the pickup tool but, then again, it does not have to be. All-in-all, a handy device to have around although you can find something similar, though not nearly as strong, for about half-price at your local freight tool store.

The LOZAGU FLEX Magnet and Parts Tray is good tool set for the home or shop. The long 24" reach can get to items out of reach, and the flexible shaft can be set to the ideal conformation to sniff out hidden items. The magnet is strong, but not quite as strong as advertised. It wasn't able to lift a 5 lb weight lifting plate, but it was close. I could just about get the plate off the ground, but then it broke free. Not surprisingly, it handled a 2.5 lb plate with ease. So the magnet is strong, and I'm sure plenty strong for anything I might need to pick up. I mean how much does a screw, bolt, or nut weight...right?The main reason I ordered this was because of the flex shaft and the price. Magnets with straight shafts are fine for most situations. But I don't know how many times I've dropped a part only to have it disappear into a hidey-hole that I can't get at. Enter the magnet with a flex shaft, that can bend around, under, and over obstacles. It's a great addition to my tool box and I know it will get plenty of use. Same goes for the magnetic tray. This little bonus is just that, a bonus. I like the small size, and the magnet is sufficiently strong to hold the contents. And it sticks to metal, providing a way to keep it out of the way. Nice combo.Overall, I'd say this product is a winner. Priced at just under $10.00, that's a small price to pay to minimize unnecessary aggravation. Indeed! I highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Remember those old superglue commercials with the construction worker being held to the girder by having his helmet glued to it, those were great.I've always wanted one of these for basic lost nail pickup, but never bought one.When I saw this, I had to pick it up.It's strong.Stores away great with the telescoping handle.Magnet feels well connected.It is a bit larger than most finder magnets, but that's what I like and I'll most likely buy a smaller one for basic jobs down the road, but this does that and more.If you have a screwdriver over there, you need over here, this is the tool for you, that's not even a joke.How many times have I been comfortably working on the floor and realized I left the screwdriver just out of reach. Then I have to get up walk over, bring it closer, then I can get comfortable again before noticing I also need the pliers.If this sounds like you, buy this magnet now, I totally recommend it.P.S. the magnet held the pipe wrench, but I had to lift it slowly. I only wanted to express how cool this thing is.

Overall I'm happy with this magnet pick up tool. The extendable handle is the perfect length for me to pick up screws and nails on my workshop floor.The magnet is strong enough to get the job done. As a test I put the magnet in a pile of medium size screws to see how many it would pick up. Including the screws that got magnetically attached to other screws, this magnet picked up 16 at one time. In normal usage, this would be too many, because some of them will fall off while raising the tool, unless you do it very slowly and with complete smoothness. But a more reasonable 10 at a time is more than enough to meet my needs.As described, the finish is chrome plated. The actual material feels like plastic, not metal, but the finish certainly looks nice.The description says the handle is made of rubber. That may be the case, but it feels like hard plastic. Since it has little grooves molded into the handle, the grip is just fine. But certainly I would think it would feel better if the rubber were softer.The magnetized cup is a nice bonus.I do recommend this magnet pick up tool, especially given its price. Nonetheless I'm giving it 4 stars since the telescoping part feels like chrome-plated plastic instead of metal, and since the handle is hard plastic. Neither of these take away from the function of the tool, though.
