Q1:Why the lid and the pan are not designed to be 100% airtight?
A completely airtight glass lid may cause pressure buildup, risking cracks or breaks. Slight airflow ensures safety and durability.
Q2:How to extend the life of the handle?
Use medium or low heat when cooking and avoid direct contact with the flame.
Q3: What is the silicone pad for?

Q5: Is this dishwasher safe?
As it is a nonstick pan and very easy to clean. please try to wash by hand, then rinse thoroughly by sponge and wipe dry before storage. If you really want put it into the dishwasher, please make sure the temperature do not exceed 260℃ .

I love this thing, it's extremely well thought out.It is nice and big for all of my cooking needs without making a mess. Really sturdy construction and great heat transfer. No sticking so far, really easy to clean. Hands down my favorite cooking tool in my kitchen and I've used it almost daily since buying it.It has a nice head indicator built into the handle to tell you if the pan is hot. It's not scientific or anything it just helps you avoid burning yourself.Honestly I'm considering buying one for a family member just because I love mine so much.Note, for the pressure valve, press into the glass hole as if you're pushing it through the hole. The material forms the seal as you push it in there.

This company's steamer/pan are the best pans I've ever used. Nothing sticks to them. They're easy to clean and easy to cook with. I've now bought three different pans for myself and two for other people as gifts.

I love that it heats up so quickly on medium on my gas cooktop. this pan makes the best rib steaks ever with just seasoning. I remove the pressure button on the lid and move the lid back so there is a gap and the steaks are better than on the grill and the pan is easy to clean. This is my second one . I still use my first pan but I wanted two so I can use one on the stove and one in the oven at the same time.

I absolutely love this pan. I purchased it for a gift but ended up using it myself and couldn't be happier. The handle screws off so that you can put the pan in the oven. The lid has a steam release vent. It's heavy but not overwhelmingly so. The inner surface is not your typical non-stick, but everything cooks perfectly without sticking to the bottom or sides of the pan. Plus, it's a fun color and looks great! The only BAD thing is that there's aren't any pieces to match! I'd buy a whole set, if available - here's to hoping that happens!

I like the size and the depth of this pan and the fact that food does not stick to it easily. I like to make one pot meals, and this not only holds a lot, but make sure it does not burn on the bottom. It seems to distribute the heat evenly and works well on a glass top stove. The lid with its little pop-up air vent is very useful and handy because it is glass and you can see how things are being cooked. The handle is very sturdy and the pot itself is easy to lift and carry. I am pleased with all the features of this pot and would buy it again. It would make a lovely housewarming gift for people who like to cook.

I gave four star because it was definitely repackaged while I had ordered new product. The instruction shows how to install the knob on the lid, but it was already there. There is minor damage on the rim as well. I ordered it as a Thanksgiving gift for my mom. That’s why I didn’t return it :( but it was quite disappointing.Other than that, I help mom cooking so I used my gift. The pan is non stick. I cooked rice in it and bottom came out nice and golden and flipped nicely.The handle was easy to attach and pleasure to use. It has a good grip. The nice feature is the heat indicator. It is also easy to detach and use in the oven. I don’t believe the lid is oven proof but I didn’t try it either. The plastic valve seems to have no use than falling off during the wash. lol. Be careful not to lose it :)The knob on the lid is cute and stylish but it gets hot.For the price of it, it’s good to have. I hope manufacturers solve some issues( plastic valve). And retailers send a non damaged and not returned products to the buyer.
