- Before using this fuel injector tester, the engine of the car must be turned off.

- Wear qualified goggles please.
- After the test is complete, all disconnected vehicle connections should be properly restored.

This is a nice budget injector tester cleaner for the DIY type or Shadetree mechanic. For years I just used 9v or 12v power and tapped a wire to pulse the injectors. If you are not careful, you can easily ruin an injector doing it that way. The pulsator is the best part of this kit for sure and it works very well. The plastic injector adaptors on the other hand are kind of useless.I also like the case, it keeps everything together and protected.

I've always been a bit of a tinkerer when it comes to my car, doing my own oil changes, brakes, and even some basic engine work. So when I started experiencing some sputtering and rough idling with my older vehicle, I naturally suspected the fuel injectors could be the culprit. After some research, I decided to invest in the Universal Fuel Injector Tester Cleaner Tool Kit.I have to say, I was impressed from the moment I opened the box. The kit felt well-made and came with a good selection of adapters, making it compatible with a wide range of injector types. I had no trouble finding the right one for my car. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, even for someone like me who isn't an expert mechanic. The ability to choose between different pulse modes and voltage settings gave me the confidence to accurately diagnose and clean my injectors. Before using this tool I tried using a basic cleaning solution to attempt to clear up my engine issues, but it wasn’t doing the trick. I had taken some fuel injectors out of an old C230 Mercedez that I have and I made a home jury rig thing to clean and test them, but it was rather messy. This is the only way to go. The connectors are small enough. They’re not gonna short out you can apply constant power, while shooting whatever cleanser cleaner you want through the injector her and inspecting the spray pattern. Very reasonable price for something that’s difficult to do if you don’t have this device.

Used Berryman carb cleaner with this. It improved spray pattern after about 3 seconds of spraying. Did 10 seconds per injector and done. Great product. Hold adapter tightly to injector and can while using. Took less than one 16 ounce can to do all injectors.

Tested the injectors from my truck, found that they were beyond repair. Tried cleaning them, worked on a few of them but most were too far gone
