Finally a undercar key holder that's big enough to hold modern keys. I have a mini Cooper and for some reason they made the key fob ginormous and round it doesn't fit in any other key holders. If it's in this one without any problem with room to spare

I absolutely love this box. So much in fact that I bought one and then after I used it I bought another identical one right away. Unlike most magnet boxes that have pretty weak magnets that are flush with the box and are knocked or vibrated off whatever it is secured to with not much force, these boxes have 4 strong magnets that although they aren't flush with the surface of the box, they are stronger than your average magnets and can be relied on to secure the box to whatever you intend to. I personally have had them connected to the frame of my truck fully loaded with several items that push the weight to the limits and then drove down very bumpy dirt roads in the country and the magnets held the boxes on with no problem and did not require me to add an additional method of keeping the box secured to the frame. The only problem I had with these are one of them doesn't seem to be sealed and waterproof like the other one. I had both under my truck in the same area and driving through some mud and snow for about 15 miles and when the trip was over they both remained sealed but one had kept the contents inside safe from the elements but the other had let a good amount of water and mud in. I'm not sure if they are supposed to be waterproof and I happened to get one with a bad seal or if they aren't supposed to be waterproof and I actually got lucky with the seal on the other. I would also recommend adding washers to the bolts holding the magnets on the inside.

I really like the number of latches on the box - these will keep it closed for sure. Also the two rings for attaching a lanyard and clip, to provide extra insurance against loss, although if you have it flat against steel, it's not going anywhere. I was worried I might dent the bodywork getting it off - it was that strong. I don't see why they didn't put an o-ring in this case, to provide positive sealing the case is manufactured for that element. However, if you use it only on specific occasions instead of leaving keys, etc. inside all the time, it's no worry.

Liked the bigger size -just wish there was a happy medium size offered. Only choices I found were too small— and this is almost too big. But it still serves its purpose so it was worth $

The Magnet works outstanding WILL NOT BUDGE. Your u hide it and it will stay in placed. Using on my Polaris Ranger attached to frame.
