Quick and dirty:quality is fine just the rough finish of the ends makes it hard to weld.My take:So I hate welding bellows, Vbands weld up so nice they make you look like a pro but a bellow mannnn. Trick I came up with which I'm sure veterans out there probably do or maybe they have a even better way, is to weld the bellow first to its own outer ring. I went around with 308l .045 filler just fusing it all together then I used a burr to open up the inside to the size of the tubing since it thickens up the edge after the fusing pass. Without doing this there is just too big a gap and the different thicknesses of the outering to the inner structure to the wire mesh makes it a pain and ruins that stacked dime look you're looking for. I'm no pro just a guy figuring things out because YouTube is overrated.
